Does the job well.
Can't understand the bad reviews for this product. Used to coat a freshly plastered ceiling and walls. It has a very pale blue tinge (duck egg) but dries clear if used on fully dry plasterwork. Gives good coverage with a brush - but requires a bit of effort as it has a slight glue-like consistency. It has a slight odour - but nowhere near as strong as many other primer type paints.

Quite expensive but does the job.
We used this to seal new plaster in our home. It was quite easy to apply and made a good surface to then paint.

Seals Paster Effectively.
Top quality plaster sealer. Does a really good job sealing plaster, with one coat, making it ready for painting. Brushes and rollers are easy to clean.

Makes life easy
Brilliant! I bought this because I’m not the most confident DIYer and I wanted the best finish I could possibly manage. I only used one coat of the sealer on each wall, it says it dries clear, it dries more with a blue tinge but doesn’t really matter because your going to cover over it. I did have to paint a few coats of paint over it, but that’s because I wanted it to look perfect. Used under both paint and wallpaper.

It seals but is difficult to use
I'm an amateur DIYer so if you are experienced you may disagree with me. However, I found it difficult to apply with a brush. It did dry in less than 24 hours. It did leave a blue tinge, though that is painted over so it doesn't really matter. I just found this a messy and difficult product to use.

Lifesaver
We had to sand off some artex from our ceiling, which was concrete underneath with lots of white filler spots. The end result was still rather powdery despite being sanded thoroughly and cleaned multiple times. This stuff did the job just brilliantly, it completely sealed in the powdery filler spots and any artex residue that wouldn't come off. We painted over it with two coats of Dulux in a custom periwinkle blue colour and it came out identical to the walls, which were white underneath. So happy to have discovered this, as we had no idea what to do with that ceiling!

Timely process
As per most reviews, it has a very pungent solvent smell when drying. Overall Found it pretty easy to use as didn't feel comfortable making my own mist coat.Main downside is drying time, needs 16-24 hrs which means Sealing and then leaving a day before painting. Doesnt sound much but does add alot of a extra time. If you factor in application time and drying time. Also did not dry clear, first applications stayed blue and looked very manky, but this might have been me applying too thickly. But it did do what it said it would do and I didn't have to water down emulsion.

Brilliant
My bathroom was painted with Dulux bathroom paint, nothing wrong with that. My bathroom had been refurbished by a professional company, but the paint started to peel off. Underneath, the newly applied plaster was still very dry and dusty. So I sanded the plaster down lightly, and applied this Plaster sealer paint.Brilliant, no more plaster flaking and when repainted no problem. In my opinion the repainted wall looks better than when the professional painted it. I repainted with two coats of white bathroom paint. Perhaps the professional only applied one coat. But it looks amazing .
