I bought this and received it in September, a couple of months later and it's stopped working.It just lived in my car so hasn't had a hard life. The original one I received with my phone has travelled, goes to the gym daily and still works perfectly even after a year.It's disappointing because I bought a more expensive adaptor hoping it would be quality but that's obviously not the case.

It's a shame that more and more smartphone companies release the smartphone without the traditional 3.5mm headphone jack. However, USB C to 3.5mm headphone jack adaptor is the best way to reuse the old favourite pairs. This adaptor is working great with my HTC U11. The quality looks good too.

The adaptor began cutting out within a week of purchase... by day 7 I couldn't move the chord at all when in use otherwise one or both earphones would cut out. Not very practical for mobile headphones.... Very poor quality and not worth the hefty price tag. (You can get the Google ones for $10 directly through the Google store - worth waiting until they were back in stock)

I have used this a couple of times now. I have also compared this to an official adapter from Google. In regards to sound quality, I can't really tell any difference between the two. I've noticed though that this one overheats after a bit of usage, whereas the Google one doesnt, so I question whether this one was made with the same build quality and standards...

Do exactly what I was expecting. I got it since 1 year and it still works well, so I'm satisfied. I think it gonna last long again.
