I was looking for an activity table that could double as a kitchen, water table, etc.My 3 year old loves it. Some of the other kitchen or mud table options have a smaller sink, and I was happy that this version provides space for tons of sensory activities.* it doesn’t appear to be water proofed, so we made sure to coat it with some varnish to protect the wood.

I specifically went with this particular one because of the guarantee that it would be OK outside and that is not the case. The lid has warped and the sliding screen door on the front will no longer slide DUE to warping. Very disappointed and disappointed with Amazon that they wouldn't do anything for us. My grandaughter LOVES it and I'm sad that I've only had it 2 months and it's proving to not hold up.

So this is super small. But the dimensions are in the original listing. While the listing says this is perfect for ages "3+," I think 2-4 is the sweet spot for this piece. 5-6 is probably too big for it and 7+ is way too big. It's very cute and has some great features, like the big house. I think the bug house is my child's favorite part.

This is such a cute little table that my kids love playing on. It’s easy to assemble and only takes about 15-20 minutes. My kids from 4-8 all have fun playing on it. It’s nice quality wood and has stood up to the weather over summer.

With the warmer weather now here, I've been looking at more outdoor activities for the little ones. We already have a water table and this conceptually is a pretty awesome. The table itself is a good height for my toddlers. There's multiple areas of play, the water basin, the bug catcher, flower bed, the sliding door, enclosure for a small pet, and finally a compost bin. The compost bin and chicken coop may be two functions which probably don't work well in reality. Obviously, you're not going to store chickens or small pet in that area where it's too small along with the compost bin.The is nicely designed. It took me an hour to assemble. Although easy to follow the instructions there are some areas for improvement. You will need to use a power drill unless you have the hand strength to screw all the pieces together. There are a lot of parts. In some assembly stages I wish it was more clear or had some predrilled holes to help line up the boards where having the legs be the same length matter to keep it from wobbling or being misaligned.My major negatives about this table are with the wood and plastic compost bin. The wood itself is on the low end. The compost bin came cracked (see pics).There parts of the table that splintered off. It feels rough and is very light. You will need to cover or paint the table to protect it from harsh weather. It does not seem very durable. I have an IKEA play kitchen and another mud kitchen where the material is at least coated and feels a lot smoother. For example, the wood is already cracking in some parts like the leg. For small children this is not great because they could hurt themselves. The corners and edges are not rounded as well. I think if the wood was a little better this table would be worth the price point but because it's already falling apart and cracking, I wouldn't recommend it.

This cute potting bench is for my grandkids. I purchased it with toddlers in mind sizewise, which is about accurate. If I were to estimate, ages 2 to 4 ish would be ideal for this playset.I have a potting table myself-grownup size-and figured the grandchildren will want to mimic my plant care and reporting themselves.This has an area for small animals, in order to create "compost" underneath in the plastic tray. But we will be using a stuffed animal and pretend that we're getting compost material.I love the little bug hut, and the planter on the other side. The chalkboard is just big enough to write a small message.Assembly wasn't too difficult, it was just a bit time consuming. About an hour and a half to two hours, and the directions weren't too confusing.Our planting bench is good quality-no issues with wood or parts. I've placed this on a covered porch, where rain and direct sun can't get to it.The only thing that would have been nice is to include a few gardening hand tools, but I'm not changing any review stars for that.I received a great quality potting bench and believe it's a good value.

This is for a 2-3 year old max! I bought this for my 7 year old and she towers over it. This is definitely for toddlers. The pictures make it look HUGE but it is miniature in size. You see a rabbit in that cage- a rabbit could not even turn around, more like a baby lizard.

UPDATE: The wooden board to cover the sink has warped and shrank due to hot weather- so if you have this outside in the heat this may happen to you as well!! Disappointing if you plan to use it with a flat surface. Knocked it down to 3 stars- especially given the price tag, the wood should hold up to outdoor heat.Original Review: We ordered this for a mud kitchen for our backyard. My kids love it!! They are almost 2 and 4. It’s a perfect height for both of them (and my 4 year old is tall for her age.)Putting it together wasn’t overly difficult, but the pieces could be labeled better for faster assembly.We will see how it holds up over time being outside and with lots of water use. We do plan on keeping it covered when not in use to help protect against the outdoor elements.We also won’t be having any animals in the animal section, but it will make for extra storage of all our pots and bowls.My kids didn’t want to stop playing with this. They were having so much fun. I’m happy they will be able to enjoy it for the entire summer and even into the fall!If this doesn’t hold up over time or if we experience any problems, I will come back and update my review. But as of right now we give it 5 stars!
