Great converter for all styles of ear phones.
Wireless earbuds are great. They work with Bluetooth, but they don't work if the charge runs out. Over the years I've bought many different styles and brands. many of those I still like, but they ended at the bottom of the drawer when the new technology came out. When I got the latest iPhone 15 with a USB-C port I started to think about all of the other earphones I had. Instead of shopping for new headphones with a USB-C end, I decided to get an adapter. These are great because they are short enough to not get in the way.

Works like a charm
We needed this adapter in order to use headphones with a standard 3.5mm plug, to listen to music on an iPhone that doesn't have the 3.5mm jack. Since Apple dropped the 3.5mm jack on iPhone 7 and later, that means most iPhones can't connect to most headphones. Or to a standard AUX cable if you're jacking your phone into your car using an AUX cable. These adapters have the MFi (Made For iPhone) chip which protects the phone from any power surge trying to enter the phone through the lightning port. This adapter connects securely to my iPhone's lightning port. The 3.5mm jack is a tight connection, so there's no chance of static due to loose connections if you're moving around. With two of these adapters in the pack for ten bucks this is a good value.

Functionality and Pricing is Key
These little dudes brought many-a-pair of headphones back online for my phone, which is welcome, indeed!Sound quality is as fine as I remember them being (my old sets) and call quality is so-so. I can make and take calls, can hear just fine, but those whom I talked to said I sounded like I was speaking through a funnel... Not a bad trade off, really, considering I will likely never be talking on the phone with these, but at least they enable that option.Overall, a solid choice for less than 10 bucks; you get two and they work just fine. 5 out of 5 from me.

Works well, but low volume range is lacking
I recently got a new iPhone that doesn't have a headphone jack, so I got this set of adapters so that I can still use my Bose wired headphones and my favorite earbuds with my new phone. The adapters work fine for most applications but they don't allow for fine tuning to low volume. I sometimes listen to audiobooks in bed instead of reading myself to sleep. I set my sleep timer when I actually want my book to put me to sleep, but I found that these adapters will only go from 'almost can't hear it' to 'too loud to tolerate' with nothing in between. I tried them on low volume with my headphones, as well, and found the same problem. I have tried adjusting the phone volume and that's not where the problem lies. If you need low volume, better look for something else. Otherwise, these work great and are a terrific value.

Headphone Adaptor for older iPhone Lightning Plug
My wife prefers to use a wired headset instead of bluetooth when she is not actively engaged. She also doesn't want to upgrade her phone at this time. Many of the newer headsets come with USB-C or standard jack and not a lightning plug. This has left her with a challenge. I picked up this adapter for her. So far, these are working as expected. She can now use a standard headset with a standard plug on her iPhone. No issues so far.

Terrible! Simply awful. I threw them away.
When Apple first removed the 3.5mm headphone jack from their phones, I thought it was a dumb move. I get it now I suppose, but it is a little inconvenient having to use your charging port for an earphone adapter. Nevertheless, in general, I've been pretty pleased with the performance of my tiny white Apple official adapter. They're cheaper now, but I remember paying about $20 for that little adapter when I first bought it. So, I've treated it with care.I have several sets of earphones. A have some nice woodtone earphones with a microphone built in that I use with my Apple adapter all the time. They sound great, and phone calls perform well. I also have some expensive in-ear-monitors that I use for critical listening, but on long car trips I'll use them with my phone as well. Again, the Apple adapter works great for this.I assumed that they were all the same, so I grabbed this set, and I immediately heard the difference. These adapters sound HORRIBLE. The stereo image is squashed and there's very little separation. I thought maybe I had a bad one with a bad plug that was bridging the left and right rings of my earbuds, but the second adapter was the same. I then unplugged them and put my Apple adapter in, and it sounded great as always. It was definitely these adapters. They're awful. Do NOT waste your money on these. They're really bass heavy, there's no stereo image at all - almost sounding out of phase. You don't always get what you pay for. I've purchased many similar items that weren't name brand, and they were as good as the real deal. NOT THESE. Save your money. Apple's official adapters have dropped in price since those early days, so just do yourself a favor and go for the official Apple adapter. These are garbage. The product packaging, as shown in the photo I took, says "There is no best, only better." That's for darn sure. ANYTHING is better than these pieces of trash. If I could give zero stars, I would.

Does the job
No complaints. Used it to go from my phone to microphone for a karaoke party. The splitter came with the mic but not this adapter . The adapter was just what I needed to make my karaoke night a success.

Work with iPhone 13
This review is for the 2-Pack Lightning to 3.5mm Headphone Adapter. The adapter fit my iPhone 13 perfectly and allowed me to use my old mini plug headphones as well as my short cable input into my speaker unit. Sound quality was fine. There are cheaper ones around, but these work well for $5 each.
