DEWALT DXWT-100 Steel Hand Truck 500kg

As a sole trading kitchen fitter working on my own & the wrong side of 50 the dewalt dolly is excellent….easy to use & moving heavy worktops (solid oak etc) around to my work bench certainly saves your back from heavy strains, definitely recommend if you work on your own.

I bought this to move heavy wooden wall frames I need to build and move from the front of the house to the back garden. First thing is that the dolly is bigger than I thought and expected. I’ve added a couple of photos of the dolly next to a dewalt tstak drill box so you get an idea of it’s size. This dolly is going to be invaluable to move sheet material and loads more. I can’t wait to use it. The inside of the load area has a rubber mat throughout so that nothing slides. The wheels are solid rubber with metal construction. The metal and metal tube frame construction is very sturdy. This thing is built to last.Update: I have used the dolly to move two wooden partition walls for my shed that I built. As I was working by myself and not much space to make the 5m long partition I made them on my driveway out front and used the dolly to move them to the back garden. I couldn’t believe how easy it was considering I couldn’t lift them myself. I can’t recommend this dolly enough.

Only two problems, 1. left in next doors front garden 2. the wheels had scrach marks on the, but my views is after a couple of weeks it will have a few more.

I bought this specifically for moving a large awkward worktop on my own, it worked very well. It came in a large dewalt box and It merely required the two retaining caps to be knocked on over the wheels for assembly.The size of it is deceptive and it was quite a surprise when it was put together. It looks super solid and I'm looking forward to using it again in the future. It would suit anyone moving heavy items daily granite/window fitters etc. The circular tube construction would allow you to hook a strop around it for lifting and it not falling off the item being lifted if going up steps.It has ribbed rubber sides that clamp onto the product being lifted, slightly disappointed with these not being stuck too well to the metal plates and required pressing back into place on mine.The wheels are large and wide so I don't envisage them sinking too much on soft ground.

I bought this for moving scenery and sheet materials.It’s bigger than I expected and has the aesthetics of a rinks toy.It holds boards firmly and they will stay up if left unattended. The big wheels are great on rough or soft ground.Only downside is it is rather heavy.It has saved me so much time and effort and everyone wants to play with it.

Both the wheels have scuff marks and the box has clearly been taped up several times. Having said that, it looks all there so we’ll see how it goes next time we have to shift a fire door.

I bought this for moving heavy fire doors and worktops around site. Works perfectly every time.I've had similar things in the past but they always had very small wheels which would get caught up and would risk tipping what you were moving over and damaging it. This has nice big wheels that don't get caught up and can carry a lot of weight saving my back in the process.

Waste of time waited for over 10 days when arrived boxed torn and nuts missing

This was a backsaver, we had to move a large and heavy counter top. This dolly was perfect. we were able to make turns with ease and load in to a truck without any back pain!
