Easy to put up easy to use, great product

We have used a gate to keep the dogs out of the kitchen for a few years now. The old one was also an extra tall gate, but was pressure fit. We found that it kept falling over, eventually bending out of shape. We’ve had a screw fitted (standard height) gate in the past which we liked for functionality but the small dog could jump it. So this one was perfect. It’s a bit heavier than I expected because of the doubling up in a standard doorway but we’ll get used to it. I took the thumb latch out because the dogs won’t attempt to lift it, making it super easy to open and close.

Not so easy to install but once in place it does the job we wanted it to.

In some respects this is a joke of a product. Firstly, as had been mentioned in another review, the templates for screwing the supports to the wall were wrong, not a good start. To make matters worse, the bolt holes to hold the frames together had not been drilled properly and the bold would not fit through. Not a massive problem for me as I had the drill bits to make the holes larger but this should not have been necessary.Once up it is a good gate and I would buy again but I would not recommend it to anyone else given the issues that I faced.

this is robust and does the ob. I found the instructions quite hard to follow. I think the problem is that all the pictures are the same size whereas the items being shown are not. NB Item Q is a small piece of black plastic which looks as if it might have broken off something else. It sorts out my four year old black Labrador. Like the extra height. I recommend working it all out in your mind very carefully before starting. The templates for working out where to drill in the wall were the most helpful bit

Looks nice & does the job. The shorter metal gates are one piece & I prefer that. It doesn't seem as strong because of the join.

Easy to assemble, but the templates for screwing the fixings to the door frame were wrong. Overall a good sturdy gate.

Gate is shorter than advertised its 98cm tall not 103.5 which makes all the difference to my nutty dog. Would return if not for the current situation..
