Its kind of loose.
I haven't had an issue with my radio signal but I wasn't impressed with how loose this is when connected to my radio. For that reason I'm knocking a star. I hope it doesn't slowly wiggle its way out.

It works
Did well on my C10 conversion. Didn’t need much but it was just enough

Worked great.
I bought this as a 'sacrificial' part when I replaced my antenna assembly in my Tacoma. I replaced a motorized antenna with a static one. I cut out the old assy near the stock motor, then I cut off the 'male' side of this part. Next I soldered the inner and wraparound cable/metal so I had a female connection thanks to this part. Next I installed my new antenna in the fender, and was able to just push the male end of the new antenna assy into the female end of this. Anyway, the wire seemed to be good quality, enough for me to make a good soldered connection. This saved me the hassle of running the new antenna cable wire though the firewall to the radio.

Easy to install, works great.
I got this because when I upgraded the radio in my 2003 Ford F-350 Super duty the port for the antenna did not reach the factory length cord. this allowed me to plug in the FM antenna to the aftermarket radio. It was Ultra easy to simply plug in both ends of the cord and it worked. the sound quality was exactly the same as it was prior to installing the extension cable. If you need 12 more inches, this will help you out.
