device works great for my dog and the different intensity settings via dial is the greatest part of the design. No need to fuss with buttons and settings when you want to up or down the intensity of the shock or vibrate.9 times out of 10 the vibrate is enough to work on my dog and hardly ever have to use the shock.controller broke after 2 months but customer service was extremely helpful in getting a replacement sent out right away.i would definitely recommend this product for the price.

This collar so far has worked well. We have used it for about a month and no issues so far. The 3 modes are great, we have only used the shock mode 2 times. We have a Border Collie who is too smart, he learned the pattern of a bark collar and used it to his advantage, but with this collar it has worked on not only his barking, but on boundaries issues, as we moved from living on a ranch with cattle to a home on a city lot, it has worked with him jumping on children as he loves them and wants to play, to running across the street to greet other dogs with their owners. The charge time is short too, and it works with us in the house and our Border Collie outside in the back yard so I would say the range is good.

I'm not sure how to review this product. My dog is a 3 year old rescue. She is very skitish so I've only used it a few times. It works well, no problems with the mechanical parts. Very easy to use, she is even scared of the beep noise.Update: We've had workers in our house for the last few days. First day I had to use the sound half the day and kept her on a leash. Second day I kept the collar on but no leash. She was 90% easier to control. Wish I had different people coming daily so I could really get her in shape. This summer I will be using it at the lake.

I ordered and received my order quickly, we tried out the collar and thought it would be great for our puppy as the snow melted to keep him out of the road, yesterday after customer service had closed he went in the road and I attempted to beep him, the remote was "dead" with no warning- put it on the charger, now 17 hours later the remote still shows a read light and will not turn on!!! I am going to re-order because we loved the simplicity of the remote and hope that our return will be simple and easy- but we are frustrated that our training was going so well and now are put on hold due to a faulty remote.

The PET620-1 is an excellent tool to assist in the training of highly spirited pure bred dogs. I rescued a pure bred Belgium Malinois female. She was almost one year old and did not receive the basic training commands. This breed of dog has very good intelligence and very quickly learned the basic commands when I started using your product. I have many other commands that I need her to learn and obey. I know this will take time. Having stated that, I hope that it is true that your product has an extended warranty when I purchased it. Please send me the extended warranty I was promised at the time of purchase. In a scale of 1 thru 10, I rate the PET620-1 as high as a 10+..thank you Joseph

I got this collar for my two dogs, one is about 19 pounds and the other is about 30. I got this really only for the vibration mode and also liked that it was water proof. It works great, has a pretty long lasting battery life and is easy to use. The biggest design flaw and thing that I absolutely hate is this: If you are in vibration mode and have it at the 75 power level, it automatically will turn the shock mode up to 75 as well. So if you accidentally press the shock button instead of the vibrate button, it will shock your dog at 75 power level. I did this and felt so terrible! I do not want my dogs to think that when I put this on them they are going to get shocked. They respond well to the vibrate and that is all I want to use.I really wish they would fix this. It would be a PERFECT unit if you could just keep the shock button on 0 and have the vibrate mode at whatever level you like. It does not make sense that they are in sync the way that they are. Please be careful and learn from me so you don't shock your puppy on accident!

I bought this 9 months ago. It has worked very well up until about a week ago. We took our dog to the lake and used the waterproof collar for the first time. It is not working any longer. I wasn’t to worried, it has a 1 year warranty. I have called the company and left a message. No phone call back. I emailed them. They didn’t respond.I think the collar is great but I found it frustrating that I couldn’t get a hold of anyone to replace my dog’s collar that was under a warranty.I wouldn’t use it in the water even though it says it’s waterproof don’t have your dog go under the water like mine.Good luck having anyone getting back to you if you do have a problem.

I didn't want to have to get a shock collar but our 7month old lab/terrier mix would not listen to any commands outside. He also can jump the fence. He would chase cars and they would stop for him and would not come to us when he is in that mode. I wanted something easy to use and that would be humane. So, I tried it out today. It comes already paired. After my command of no, I gave a beep, no again, gave a vibrate, no again, gave a shock on 70. He stopped turned around and looked at me and came back. Only one shock to not cross the road. We also tested it on ourselves to see what would get his attention. 70 gets his attention and it goes to 100. We took the collar off because he is an inside dog and only needs it when we go outside. Perfect! The only thing that could be improved is the collar that it attaches too. But, there are replacements on Amazon.

It works very well I do not use the shockMainly the vibration and it helps me control my dog

It was used a few times and never went higher than vibrate. Highly recommend.

We love it..our puppy is very stubborn has been a great tool..BUT...it does not go more then maybe..?? 200-300 ' we have 200 acres...and would have been 5 star had it gone what it said it did!!! But we do like it
