Overall, great tea bottle for all uses!
I finally found the (almost) PERFECT tea bottle! I only use whole leaf tea since I read most tea bags are filled with tea dust, which is the worst part of teas! It’s hard to do whole leaf in the morning when I’m commuting and I’ve tried different “infuser” type tea bottles, but I don’t think they’re designed for the tea drinker. First of all some tea leaves float to the top: it sucks to sip and have the wayward leaf in your mouth. Also, infuser type bottles steep the tea for too long and it makes my tea taste super acidic towards the end. I’m really glad I found this bottle because It does the trick for me:PROS:Materials: borosilicate glass (heat proof stuff), stainless steel, and ceramic (WTF!) If you ever drink tea from a ceramic pot, this little added touch is really nice. You can tell they didn’t skimp on the materials. The bottle weighs more than it looks. After examining the bottle, I realized that the plastic surface area that touches the tea is really really small. Basically only the silicon lining on the lids. I’m not paranoid about plastic but its nice to be safe, I think. One benefit that I didn’t realize is you can choose when you want to brew the tea. You can fill the top with hot water and not brew it!! If you’re drinking tea for antioxidants, this is great because the moment tea is brewed it starts to oxidize, basically nullifying the antioxidants. This is why fresh tea is the best. And because I can choose when to brew, I can do fresh tea whenever I want on my commute to work.CONS:The only downside to this bottle is that it can be a bit complicated to use. The two chambers means there’re more moving parts than a traditional bottle. I had to practice twice before getting the hang of it, but it’s really not that bad.Overall this has changed the way I drink tea. I buy a lot of loose leaf tea which just sits there because I never have time to sit down and make it. Now I drink it on the go and notice myself also using the bottle to make tea at home lol. Great will buy again for tea loving friends.

Looks great but...
Device is simple enough to use. Directions for use aren't exactly needed. Just common sense. I just received it today. And have been using it for a about 6 hours. Out of box, i have two complaints. It leaks and some of the tea grounds escape and gets in the main chamber. Guess I will have to try another brand. Big Bummer. The water drips back into main chamber very slowly if you don't tilt it to the side. Just a tip to get the water flow to shift quicker. The bottom chamber gets really hot. Be careful. My palm was red for quite a whileUpdate: Second day the metal decal came off the top. Now it has this weird edge on top. The top isn't stainless steel.

no instructions
is there a demonstration video or instructions somewhere? Nothing included in box. I can't tell if mine has a leaky seal between chambers or not. Hardly any water drips when chamber is OPEN , then when tilted the lower chamber fills w/ hot water and steeps for 3-5 mins. When inverted in OPEN position, no water drips back into larger chamber until tilted and then it fills quickly from one chamber to the next. Is this normal? Each time I rotate or tilt the bottle then water fills from one chamber to the next but when upright and OPEN, nothing drips thru mesh. Do you fill the lower chamber with hot water, assemble, fill upper chamber partially with hot water, steep, open valve, invert emptying lower chamber, then close valve and remove or invert again, and drink? This may seem like a stupid inquiry but could use some instructions on the sequence for best use. Thanks!

She's got a lot of loose leaf tea so she loved the gift
Got this tea tumbler as a gift for my sister, who drinks both coffee and tea. She's got a lot of loose leaf tea so she loved the gift, especially how quality the design is! She says she uses it to brew tea at home, and likes how easy it is to clean since she can just dump the loose tea from the bottom portion of the bottle (while it's tricky getting little bits out of a teapot)

Received a used product
I ordered a new product and clearly received something that was already used!! There are tea leaves already in the bottle.

Great bottle with a unique infuser/filter
Great bottle with a unique infuser/filter! It's a great addition to my commute and the tea is still hot by the time I arrive (20 minutes later). I fill the tea up once in the bottom chamber thing and re-brew it throughout the day. It's also really nice to drink from since the top glass does not get hot, making it a good grip.

Easy to clean
Works as advertised. Easy to clean.Only thing is the bottom side is not double walled so it can be hot to the touch. But once you get used to it you learn not to hold the mug from there.
