We bought this camera to view the night life of our garden. Wonderful! We now know that not only a number of local cats, but a veritable army of hedgehogs (adults and babies), and even a fox, come visiting . The camera is simple to set up , powered by AA batteries, and takes good photos and videos (black & white at night, colour in daytime) . Our first attempts were marred by a faulty camera, but good customer service supplied another promptly and we are now very happy with this camera. It's working well and taking good photos. Every morning is exciting as we reveal the previous night's manoeuvers . A word of warning - the sensors are so efficient that the camera filmed a spider walking across the patio (I could have done without that horror, but appreciate the quality of the sensors). It does everything we had hoped and expected. We have no complaints about it. It's a good little camera.

Just bought this camera, I also purchased a SDHC Micro card with adapter, the camera would not work kept coming with Error, Card Error, Waiting, came up on the screen, tried the card in my laptop and it worked fine, tried other Micro Cards with adapters and they also did not work, came to the conclusion it was the camera, but after speaking with a colleague I decided to try the local computer shop, the owner suggested trying a normal SDHC card and it worked, just to make sure we tried one of his micro cards and again would not work, so it looks like this camera is not compatible with Micro Cards. Just a bit of Learning I wanted to pass on. Other than that quality camera and the pictures have great resolution, would recommend.

Easy to set up, works, what more could you ask for!I initially wrote the above few words, that was before a few things went wrong. I was getting glitchy videos and so I contacted the Supplier who suggested several things to try, all to no avail. Then I realised it was when I was downloading onto my Apple Mac that I had these problems. I verified this by downloading to my PC and no problems. So, not the camera after all. I told the Supplier of my findings and he said he would check this out. No report back from him as yet so I don't know jf this is a general problem or just my set up.Anyway fast forward one week and my camera stopped working. So i contacted the Supplier once again and he gave me a couple of things to try. When no improvement the Supplier very kindly offered a replacement camera for. I couldn't have asked for more, and the date for this was after the return date set by Amazon, so I felt very lucky.No complaints whatsoever about the product and absolutely no complaints about the Supplier either. I have no problem in recommending both product and Supplier.

Oh dear! These trail camera are hit and miss. They also seem to be the same firmware and electronics in most brand names. This Gosira camera has exactly the same internal setup (buttons, menus, battery compartment etc) as my Maginon camera from Aldi, even though the lens and sensors are different on the front. I bought this one as like many cameras, my Maginon kept shutting down even on permanent 9v external power. On batteries, even top lithium ones, it lasted only days.Therefore I really wanted to get photos and videos regularly from the shed where many hedgehogs live with the right time and date stamp. When I went to retrieve the SD card after the first week, I was pleased to see that batteries were at full power. However the settings had reverted to default, which apart from losing the time and date had reverted back to photos only not the photos and video I had set it for. The first day it had recorded photo and video. The following days only photos. I looked at the settings and they were back at default eg wrong date and 5m photo only.Same thing happened again.I don't know if there are power glitches which reset these cameras to default but it can't be trusted to work continuously on the settings you have chosen.Finally, the photos I did get were of far poorer quality than the Maginon.I'm sure some units work well but I must find a camera based on different firmware and software that I can trust to work continuously. I have returned the camera.

We have found this works well & was simple to set up. We now have pictures of our visiting badger! A great price too.

Was working brilliantly for first two months of useage every night then stopped working. However, customer service was fantastic. Within two days I had a new machine delivered which I am very happy with.

This trail cam is fantastic value and does exactly what I require of it. I use it to monitor activity at my feeders, helping enormously in red squirrel conservation. Stills and movies are clear and the IR cone provides clear night footage. The image quality isn't 4K HD but is excellent for purpose and represents an amazing value integrated PIR/timer package. Support from both supplier and manufacturer is excellent; any queries or problems are addressed promptly. I will purchase these cameras in future. Highly recommended.

I use this for wildlife monitoring, note the two species of owl on the same perch! Camera ran for over 7 weeks on PIR trigger with 8x Varta aa rechargeables, incredible! Sound good, PIR trigger perfect for my uses. Even rain on the lens did not spoil its ability to capture animals from 1m to over 20m, with birds triggering it at 10m or so, larger animals much further. A small amount of internal condensation appeared without affecting the performance, though this was in operation at -8deg. C in the UK winter. PIR torch a bit narrow in beam, photos can be overexposed if close and centred. It would be nice to have the software option of interval pictures AND PIR trigger, currently it is one or the other setting. Resolution is in reality more like a 4MP camera, colour and all other aspects are great, especially depth of field, note the jay bird above at 1m and the deer at over 25m away. Good instructions, well thought out accessories and I've just ordered two more which says all you need to know!
