With that big discount, I wasn’t expecting much.But once I pressed the musical symbol to start the sounds,I was quite surprised.The bird sounds even at the highest volume wasn’t distorting.Now—not all the recordings are great sounding, but you have a lot of choices.It’s not just a noise machine.There are bird sounds, traffic, heartbeats like a foetus might hear?You have to have it connected, the lithium battery is only to save your settings.The light, I would have preferred a much saturated tone.But like that you can dim or increase the brightness using the dials on the back (the other being for the display). With the display.I was very confused why it was so dim!So perhaps these should ship with at least medium brightness than turned down so much.If all the sounds were excellent, and the light saturation was richer, this at even £49.99 would be 5/5.But with everything mentioned and the price at £40,it’s 4.2/5 for me.Can get relatively loud too!

This is a subjective review, I admit.We turned to noise machines in the fall when we packed up the bedroom fan for the winter. Missing the hum at night, we tried a noise machine and never looked back. We've tried a bunch of them since then and this is one of the best. But, this is where it gets subjective.This isn't just a noise machine, it's also a sunrise alarm clock. You can buy them separately but in this case they rolled them both into one.Personally, I'm not into the sunrise clock thing and for me it just adds extra buttons and settings to the product. But that's a personal preference. At the same time, is it worth it to get the absolute best sound machine we've ever tried? I think so, yes.Taking the personal opinions out of it, this is a very nice machine. It's large but kind of nice looking so it doesn't look odd or out of place sitting on a dresser. There are lots of settings but I only use the noise machine ones and the on / off on the light when I'm getting in to bed. Maybe at some point I'll feel adventurous and give the other parts a try but really, I'm mostly just addicted to the sounds and I'm more than happy with those and the basic on / off light.As I mentioned, this machine has some of the best sounds we've ever experienced. Rain sounds like rain and the thunderstorm is awesome. If you like that kind of thing, I can't say you won't find better but we've tried half a dozen of these and this one is the best so far.It has good volume and can get really loud but I'm not sure why a person would want or need that much volume when trying to sleep. Maybe it's the solution for loud, obnoxious neighbours, I have no idea, but it's there is you want it.I'm giving this 5 stars because it's wonderful for what we wanted and needed. It's a little pricey but there's a coupon, which makes it decently priced for what you get.

This is a nice addition to any room and, for many different uses.* The light is soft on the eyes, even on the brightest setting it's not a harsh loud light. We have it on our bedside table, gives off enough light to read a book beside or, adds a soft glow to our room.* The alarm clock is easy to set and has many customizable features, that I like. I usually hit the snooze button on any alarm clock I use, but with the light that gets brighter (all be it sometimes annoying) it gets me out of bed quicker than a loud beeping sound.* I find quite a few of the sounds are similar, (fans, water) but they are easy to decipher when needed, and it's nice to have options when relaxing after a long day.* Adjusting the brightness is probably the easiest feature to use and, gets used the most. It has a rolling button, (quiet and can dim both light and clock at the same time).* The display is big enough that I don't need glasses to see the time (the icons such as alarm 1 are a bit small)* Takes up little real estate on my nightstand.Overall, this is a good quality light/alarm clock, that offers plenty of options. I would have liked a changing color option, and a bit bigger clock, but it works well and for $69.99 with $20.00 off (at time of review) it's a good option for heavy sleepers who need something more than a beep to get their butt out of bed.4 stars, would recommend!

The first time I used the product I thought maybe they had overcomplicated it by adding so many features that could only be controlled by buttons (as opposed to touchscreen) but by the third day I totally got used to the buttons and not I'm really glad that they included all those features.Basically the product can be used as a clock, an alarm clock, a night light, a sunrise clock and a sound machine and the whole thing is quite compact and looks very neat and discreet on my nightstand.The sound options include quite a few good ones to fall asleep to, including waves, train sounds, water, lullaby, heartbeat sound, piano tune etc. They work very well for adults too. The volume can get quite high too, which is great if you need it to be audible over the noise of AC or fans at night.I also really love that it is a permanent clock, in the sense that the time is constantly displayed and doesn't "go to sleep". I don't have to tap it to see the time as it is always there and it is displayed digitally with lights so it is visible even at night but not in a way that makes the light bothersome for sleep (no glare at all).Easy 5 stars - very happy with the product.

I ordered this off of Vine mainly for the white noise and RGB nightlight. It is actually really nice with some cool features.In the day I usually have it on a different color night light . At night I have it off and it comes on and acts like a sunset. It gradually gets brighter.The alarm clock has a dimmable LCD display. A Dimmable color light function. 30 different relaxing noises to choose from. Ranging from white noise to rain to even birds and storms. I enjoy waking up to the birds as my alarm sound. Birds with a Sunrise.Programming is pretty easy. It has all you need to know in the instructions. You can program, it to only go off on the weekdays and skip the weekends. It comes with a little backup battery installed. In case the power goes off . It will remember the time and settings.I really like it. It ads a nice visual touch to my nightstand and has some relaxing noises. Thanks a ton. I can recommend it.
