I’ve only used this indoors, but having a battery option is great for being able to use this outdoors. The size is quite “clunky” though; I wouldn’t want to take it to the park for a picnic, although you definitely could if you really wanted to (it’s not necessarily super heavy to carry and relocate). It would be great for camping though or someplace with nice weather where you can have baby on the porch or backyard with the rest of the family is outside.The swing itself has worked great and was really easy to put together.

Swing moves side to side. This swing has a remote or can be controlled from the swing itself. Can be directly plugged in or can be powered by batteries. It’s a satisfactory swing but doesn’t feel like super high quality we have been using it as our outdoor swing or travel swing and it’s great for that function. The instructions to assemble were clear and it was simple to put it together. Swing doesn’t take up a ton of space so I would say that is a postive for this swing as I would consider it space saving.

The swing is a life saver with a newborn, the swaying has 3 different speeds and quickly calms the baby down and keeps her content with the motion. The music feature is also really nice, and even better that the volume is adjustable. With babies, the number one consideration is always safety. The baby is secured with a 5 point safety harness that gently keeps baby safe and securely in place. The head piece supports even the littlest heads perfectly. I like that the seat has different levels, the back adjusts - one in sitting type position, one in a laying down position and one inbetween. The seat can be controlled with the buttons on the seat, or with the very handy remote control. It can be plugged in and use electricity, it can use batteries or a battery pack. The cover is easy to clean and soft enough for even newborns. The ONLY reason I only gave this swing 4 stars is the size - and the fact that it's too big to be portable and taken with me, at least not easily. It is pretty light though, and moving it from room to room inside the house, or moving it out on the deck is easy enough. But if you only use it at home, the gentle side to side swaying works wonders to keep babies content and asleep. This swing could seriously be the only thing that lets you get any sleep for the first few weeks, highly recommend it! And if you are looking for a gift for the new to be parents that they will love and appreciate, this it that gift. They'll love you for this one!

Love how portable it is, you can go from the living room to the back porch and works just fine. Sturdy design. And best of all easy to clean.

My daughter has 4 children and I think I have tested 4 of this type of infant swing. This one just doesn't impress me.
