These bags are sealed together at the top of the collar near the part that goes into the holder. This is better than the ones that are not as having them sealed together prevents the hassle of having the bag separate as you're putting them on the holder. (See Picture) The handles are also semi connected to each other by a little hole that keeps them all together until they get mounted on the holder. (See Picture)I tested a bag and it held up to some abuse while using without wearing a hole in it. I put 2-3lb weights in one and shook it around and there was no sign of damage.

These DAP plastic thank you bags are just what I expected. They are nice and thick, and they feel sturdy enough not to tear while bearing a little weight. The price is very good- especially for this kind of quality. I need good quality merchandise bags because I sell collectables in boxes. The boxes can cause the bag to stretch out of shape and cause tears, but these bags seem durable enough that I don't foresee any issues. I'm really glad to have this new supplier for my bags, so I don't have to worry about getting bad quality from the club stores anymore! Recommended!
