Good, thick jacket helps protect the conductive wires inside the cable. Mine lives underfoot, and already has a few nicks, but still works well.Much better construction than the comparatively flimsy genuine Samsung cable I had, which stopped working after very little abuse.I haven't measured the data transfer rate, but it seems to be doing a good job of letting USB 2.0 work at full speed.

Perfect for those who want stronger cables
4th cable I have from this company and good quality as usual, nice chunky feel to the cable and good solid click into tablet, good if you have kids pulling at things breaking other leads.... Maybe a thing to note for some people the cables are quite strong making them stick out from the plugs before they bend, I like this as it's reassuring they won't break easily at the plugs but might be an issue for some. Delivery was great too came a lot earlier than listed and well packaged.

Better than original cable
Bought to try with galaxy tab 10.1 as would take over 24 hours to charge with original Samsung cable that came with it (made us think the battery was faulty). Charged fully in 3 hours with this one so works a treat. Bought 4m so can charge from any socket and still have tablet in reaching distance when charging

Better than the original?
This product is awesome! It seems to charge my tablet better than the original lead from Samsung! I also bought a different cable a few months back FROM SAMSUNG that broken when trying to unplug it. The cables are thick and I bought the 2-metre version which seemed to be too long! It is amazing how you over-estimate the length required.

Did not fit ipad 3 as 30 pin plug too big. Sent message to JuicEbitz. But no response. So Amazon sent label and posted back.
