Great!
I needed wifi out near my pole barn and this worked perfectly! I get signal all over my property that I never got with any of my wifi routers! Even inside my house I get a pretty decent connection and it was super easy to set up! Definitely worth the money!

Perfect way to extended WiFi.
This Wavlink is awesome. It is plug and play with very little setup. The setup I did do was simple and easy to understand. The reality is this just works. The signal boost is good. Even going into a metal building. The signal dropped and the speed is much slower - that should be expected. I can still use the internet from that building without adding a hard line from the house to the outbuilding and that was my goal. If this device services a winter in the north it will be perfect.

Total Trash
It is suppose to be outdoor rated but installed like the directions said it went to hell and filled up with water I bought two of them and they both died with in a month.

Harware is OK but software very limited in capability
Good hardware but software really limits its proper use. Openwrt kernel image installs but won't go further than that. So, no openwrt on this device unfortunately and it is now collecting dust in the corner.

Works as Advertised
When I got the Outdoor WiFi Extender First I had to get a networking cable and put it through the rubber seal and crimp it down with my cable crimper, it makes a great seal for the rubber part but I wouldn’t recommend it if you want it to be water proof since the cable in the box doesn’t fit through the hole and has to be cut and crimped with a rj45 end, if you don’t have a networking kit then this won’t work for outdoor use well. Then after that I tested it in repeater mode and got pretty good results but the flaw is that the port is limited to 100 Mbps. Overall it’s not bad, for my use case I would recommend it if you are using it to get WiFi to a metal building or outbuilding by picking up WiFi signal and getting an additional WiFi router in the Ethernet port or wirelessly in the metal building.

Pretty good
Decent outdoor access point. A little less robust than name brands but also much more affordable than most. Easy enough to set up and it works great.
