A bit daunting for me!
I buy American books and patterns because they offer a different range of styles and the authors are soEnthusiastic about crochet. I bought this book because I liked the cardigan on the cover. However there are one or two negatives for me. There are 8 patterns in the book and if all things were equal I would like to do say 5 of them. Some look a bit 'Southern Belle' so I would want to remove ribbons to get to this number. There is a further problem, however, most of these patterns are for experienced crocheters and therefore the instructions don't seem to be as detailed as they could be. I am fairly experienced and have produced garments in the past but only I will need to think very carefully before investing time and money on projects which are obviously not easy.I wish Nicky Trench or Sue Whiting would produce more garment patterns. - we don't need babying but clearer instructions would be nice!
