Each knife has a cover that is clipped on, so they won;t just fall off.Surprisingly sharp, I used one to slice a slightly over ripe tomato last night and it went through it easily and precisely. Normally I would have to use a serrated blade for that sort of thing but these had arrived and I wanted to test them.They feel solid, little flex and the handles are firmly attached.I like them.

I bought these knives to stock my RV, but I liked them so much, I may keep them for my kitchen. They are really sharp but light weight. The plastic covers stay on securely and the handles are sturdy. I have used them on several different foods: slicing raw fruits and veggies, cutting cooked meat; slicing pastries. They performed well on everything. I never put knives in the dishwasher, but I wanted to test their "dishwasher safe" claim. To my surprise, they came out unscathed; looking like new. These are small knives: the blade is about 3.5 inches and the blade and handle together measure about 7.25 inches long. I agree with one of the other reviewers: optically, they can be a little confusing as to which end is up, but once you get used to them (also, check for the writing on the blade and handle) that is no longer a problem.

I got this 4 pack set of knives to add to my camping supplies. The knives are super lightweight while sharp and very useful. Each knife comes with its own plastic cover protecting the blade. This is super useful for me as they are stored with the rest of my camping supplies, not worried about damaging the knives or cutting into anything while transport. The blade is nice and sharp and cuts very well. The handle is very basic but definitely functional.Overall this is a great set of four knives, they are great with my camping supplies but would also make great knives to use at home.

These are good quality camping knives. The blades are very sharp and strong, not flimsy like some other camping knives I've tried; they should last me a long time. The plastic handle is of good quality, and feels nice in my hand. And the sheath is solid - it's the same hard plastic as the handle and snaps snuggly onto the blade; I feel comfortable knowing it's not going to slip off and create a dangerous situation. I like how the four knives fit together into a nice compact space; I can easily take one or all four with me depending on the group size.They're compact but multi-functional; the blade is about the length of a normal paring knife and very sharp. I've used these to slice veggies, to peel an apple, to dice an onion, and to cut through some tougher meat. They performed beautifully in all cases. Overall, a really great purchase.

I find these knives to be excellent. The blades are sharp and sturdy. However, I would prefer the handles to have a better gripping surface. Currently, they are fairly smooth, and when applying pressure, your hand could potentially slide up the blade. A more textured surface would mitigate this risk. Otherwise, they feel like high-quality knives, and I love using them.

These are high quality steel knives that should hold an edge a long time. The steel is very high quality and worth is in my opinion. The handles and guards are plastic. The guard securely snaps into the handle for safe storage. These knives are razor sharp. The length is perfect for everyday cooking, prep. The blades are also thin, but not the thinnest I've seen. You could probably sharpen these if you wanted to: they do not have a cheap coating to make them sharp; the quality of the steel is what makes the edge nice.
