Caught several foxes and despite their struggles they didn’t escape. Also caught a few squirrels.Initially the fox was just reaching in and taking the food. So I put one end of the trap against a wall and put the food at that end of the cage. The fox then had to cross the trigger to reach the food.Great it folds flat for storage. Easy to put together.Strong and able to contain a large fox. I recommend.

My cat went missing for nearly a month but was spotted in gardens that back onto a field in the next village.I put this trap out at 11pm in the garden she was frequenting and by 2.30am she was caught. First time I’d used it and immediate results!Putting it together was actually not bad but I’d prefer a clear instruction sheet to the online video. The instruction sheet I got had really small drawings on it that were too small to see what was what, and no words, so I had to watch the video and that was a pain, having to pause, rewind etc etc. but ultimately I had it sorted in about half an hour and it was really effective so I’m not complaining!I’m not sure how long it would’ve taken to get hold of my cat without using this trap - she doesn’t willingly go to people outside of the home so the trap was a desperate attempt to catch her that paid off.

I bought this trap described above as - "Thealyn Animal Cage Trap 84 X 33 X 28 cm Double Door Animal Cage Trap Metal Trap Cage Humane Live Animal Trap for Rabbits, Stray Cat ... etc" However after much hassle (eventually also buying a wildlife camera), I discover it will not catch a stray cat as the trap is totally inappropriate for an average cat (see picture for detail). A dreadful stray is causing injury (and large vets bills) with our three cats. Contrary to guidelines (ie trades description act) it is the wrong trap . It's caused huge inconvenience time wise and more vets bills. NO GOOD FOR CATS!

My terrified cat had taken up residence under my neighbour's shed and refused to come out. I set up the trap with a trail of tuna leading to it and within a couple of hours the cat was caught and back home after 5 days under the shed. It was easy to set up and collapse again, and not too heavy.

The media could not be loaded. I have foxes that visit my garden and I have seen some quite badly affected with mange. I wanted a live trap so if I see a badly injured or ill animal, I can trap it to take to a rescue centre or look after it myself. This fits the bill perfectly. To start with, it takes up very little space and packs pretty flat. The box it comes in, measuring 105x35x9cm, is very sturdy and can be used to store it in. It fits easily into my garage. There is a very good seller video in the listing which shows how to put it together and I advise anyone buying to watch it. The supplied paper instructions aren't very clear as the pictures are so small, although it is pretty much a case of common sense. I didn't watch the video until after I had put it together and dismantled it but it would have been much easier if I had. I faced a couple of small problems in the form of some slightly bent metal in two places which prevented it from being assembled and one door from dropping. It was easily fixed using pliers and was just a slight adjustment. The door frames lock into place with a metal hook and are what keeps the trap securely in shape. I advise putting the trap together on a flat surface, not a lumpy lawn. Once assembled, it will sit happily on uneven ground and have no problems working perfectly but it is tricky lining everything up on uneven ground. There is a balance to be found in how robust and heavy a cage is. This cage is lightweight but feels a bit flimsy and did arrived slightly bent but it is robust enough to trap a large fox safely . The door release mechanism is simple, relying on a rather flimsy method of two thin metal bars just catching but it does the job. For the money, it is a great fox trap and perfect for occasional use. I definitely can recommend it.

Bit fiddley to set up, my bsh had got out of my upstairs flat window, him being a indoor cat, he was completely lost, I set it up with his favourite food inside, he went in on the first night, so overall good investment

Sehr gute Konstruktion, nach 2 Tagen im Probelauf vollen Erfolg. Aufbau simpel aber gut durch dachte. Einsatz mit den Schiebetüren erst skeptisch, aber gute Ausführung. Funktion 100%. Transport auch super. Einfach gesagt tiptop.

Die Falle ist sehr stabil und gut verarbeitet, hat ihren Zweck schon erfüllt. Der Gefangene Waschbär wurde von unserem Jäger am Fluss in die Freiheit entlassen und unsere Vogelhäuser sind wieder sicher.

Super Lebendfalle einfacher Aufbau und funktioniert sehr gut und schnell habe damit sogar einen Vogel und eine Kröte gefangen !
