This is a very sturdy stand that can be used for the original or slim PS5 console. It is well made that is low profile that is easy to install.

The stand is made of full solid metal that has a significant weight, which provides a very stable support of the PS5 slim console when mounted vertically. Compared to similar product made of plastic, this stand has an obvious advantage with more stability that can't hardly be disturbed with impact from the side. The mounting screw point matched well with the corresponding point on the console. Very rigid and highly recommended

I chose this unit over most other units that have the stainless ring because I am not a fan of chrome finish especially something that is next to my TV would be very distracting. The stand is flat and sturdy, install took less than 5 minutes and on installation have zero worry that PS5 will have a gravitational incident with this thing attached. I already had replaced the faceplates with some matte black ones so the design and color scheme are a match. I have no complaints about this item, an I would certainly purchase again should the need arise.

Mine was unuseable because it was missing the screws . So it's door holder and paperweight. Cat proof paperweight
