Works on 1 cylinder engines!
The media could not be loaded. Works well. Tested the RPM accuracy with an optic tachometer and was perfectly accurate. Needed for my Wheel Horse Kohler single cylinder engine. The trigger is off of the negative coil. Has the ability to work on single to eight cylinder engines.

Not accurate, off by a couple of hundred RPM
Installed on a simple Toyota 4 cylinder. It looked great after install but the accuracy is terrible. Its easy to see day or night and aside from being a couple of hundred RPM off, it works smoothly and was easy to install. If it worked correctly it would be a good buy for the price. Over all, not a great buy.

Delayed response, not accurate reads.
Connected as per the instructions and the tech reads really slow and doesn’t read as high as the engine is really revving at.

Incorrect reading
I tried 2 different ones on a single cylinder “Briggs and Stratton” engine. Set to 1 cylinder…..read 8k+ at idle. Ran through settings and none would read accurately. Both it is acted the same. Disappointing since it was a nice display.

Didn't work right out of the box
Didn't work at all. Even hooked directly to a battery for power and didn't even turn on.
