There is enough seed and planting material in this product to make 3 trays of grass. The wheat grass sprouts quickly and grows vigorously. In the picture is 2 month old grass. I have forgotten to water it for a week and it always comes back to life after watering. The cats like the taste. Grew well in winter just from light in window. Easy to grow and resilient.--- I almost want to plant on my lawn, which won't grow grass for anything!

This is a cute kit that is way overpriced ($10 per growing cycle) and not well thought out. It's a plastic tub with three soil discs and three seed packages. The instructions tell you to add a soil disc to the tub and add 220 ml of water. Helpfully, it says you can put in the water first to make measuring easier.Even if I wasn't an American raised on the Imperial system, I can't eyeball 220 mil (.93 cups) of water. The instructions say it's about 1/3 of the total volume of the tub but why oh why isn't there a marker on the side to tell us how much water to put in?I put filled it about 1/3 of the way then added the disc. I have to say, watching the disc grow provided 60 seconds of top notch entertainment. I then broke up and spread out the soil, put the grains of one package on top, and gently pressed them to the soil with my finger, all per the directions.Now I'm left with a shallow lid and two plastic bags with soil discs and another two plastic bags with seeds. Nowhere to store them all. The directions say to spray the surface with water daily but there is no spray bottle (at this price point, I expect an itsy bitsy spray bottle).Hopefully these will grow well. And hopefully I can find a sunny (but not in direct sun) spot that my cats don't know about, because I assure you they will knock this plastic tub down and render all those seeds unsproutable. So we shall see.

I am a novice and know nothing about growing plants, but this cat grass growing kit is really easy to use. It comes with all the materials needed for planting, including soil and seeds. It does not require too many skills. Just follow the steps in the instructions. The cat grass I planted for the first time sprouted, and they are very healthy, just like they were taken from a professional garden! My cats also like it very much. They come to lick them every day, which makes me feel very satisfied and happy. My choice is wise.

The indoor cat grass planting kit is well-packaged in a perfect plastic box, containing three pieces of coconut shreds used as planting materials, three packets of wheat-like seeds, and very detailed instructions for use. I enjoy planting it a lot. Although it may not be as colorful as flowers, it is green and full of vitality. I have planted it in a flowerpot, hoping my cat will enjoy it once it grows. Additionally, it can be used as a bonsai to beautify my space. I feel great about it and will recommend it to my friends who appreciate flowers and plants
