Decent dot markers
These markers have a twist-on cap, which may be a good or bad option, depending on your child. My 1 1/2 year-old has figured out how to twist off the caps herself. You have to get the markers working the first time by shaking the marker, hitting the point on the paper, and I also tried poking the tip with a sharp point (though I can't remember now if that worked well or not; I believe it was more the hitting on the paper that worked). These markers do give a nice dot; however, if your child hits down too hard, the marker spurts out and can make a bit of a mess. My four-year-old son has also used them as regular markers for coloring pages. These are my first dot markers, so I can't compare them to other brands.

Not the Best Markers
I thought it would be cute to get my child some Dot Markers so she could have a separate set of markers, but after trying this set, I don’t think I’ll purchase another one again. The dot markers have ink-absorbing heads, so you first have to press all of them before color starts coming out. When it does, the consistency isn’t the best, and you aren’t able to make clearly defined dots, which is what you want for “Dot Art.”Additionally, it’s best to put some covering under whatever you’re coloring as the ink can seep through. For the price, it’s not a bad set to get, but I might just stick to normal markers.

Easy to hold, Not too "drippy"
My preschooler loves doing dab a dot things and recently told me he didn't like his dot markers because they were too "drippy". He wasn't wrong. The set he had was getting old and would leak way more ink than it needed to. I know because I always put 2-3 scrap papers under his work so my table doesn't get messed up.Saw these and thought I'd get him a fresh set. I didn't think too much of the fact that they would be thinner and that turned out to be a huge feature. His favorite thing is that they are easy to hold and we can fit many more colors into his little art catty now that he has this slimmer set. Yay! I still recommend putting an extra sheet underneath (see picture of the back of the paper) especially if your kiddo is learning how to us dab a dot markers for the first time and doesn't know they don't need to hold it onto the paper for very long. Just like any other dot marker, when you first open the package you need to shake and dab the marker to get the ink down to the tip. At first you may only get a crescent or half dot, but give it a few dabs and you'll be good to go.

It’s ok
The media could not be loaded. These are vibrant in color but messy and takes forever for the dot to actually look like a dot so the paint doesn’t evenly distribute. My son loves them but I had to put a mat on the table for him to use them. As you saw in the video a little started seeping through the paper towel even though it was folded in half and got into the counter top. Cool idea just a few little kinks to work on.

Perfect for Bingo
We got these for playing at-home bingo. This is the first set we've gotten that aren't too big for our bingo cards. So that was a huge win for us.You do need to prime the markers before you can use them. Just follow the instructions on the back of the box. I pushed down on the table around 30 times before ink started to come out. By 40 times, I was getting a perfect filled in circle. The lids are screw on. This makes it better for not having the lids accidentally pop off. It's also much more baby proof so that the little ones don't get ahold of these and make a giant mess.Overall, these markers are great. I'd definitely recommend them, especially for Bingo.

Perfect for Fun Art Projects or Bingo!
These dot markers are filled with high-quality ink in a variety of colors and are easy for kids to use. I got them for bingo for which they worked wonderfully, and now my daughter is using them to create fun dot masterpieces. If you're looking for bingo daubers or even just some fun markers for your kids, you can't go wrong with these--great quality at a reasonable price.

Bingo and kids dot markers
My husband and I recently played bingo and the markers that were provided weren’t great (many were dried out). We met some more experienced players who were using their own dot markers so that is why I got this set. I think they would work great for bingo as you can still see writing through the ink (please see my photos). I think kids would enjoy them too as I easily drew a bold thick line with them. There is a little bleed through to the opposite side of the paper but it did not transfer to the surface underneath. The reason I took off a star is that it was a bit difficult to get the ink flowing initially. I followed all of the directions and it still took longer for the ink to start to flow than I had expected. However once they are primed they work very well.
