We chose this lift to avoid drilling into a new hot tub. Overall, it’s a great fit and helps remove the cover very easily. Yeah, it’s a bit flimsy and has some wobble to its movement, but for the price it’s a fair trade. I am not a fan of the foam it comes with to protect the cover. I plan to throw that away and use some pipe insulation instead. Would still buy again.

Bought this with only 1 review on Amazon.I never do that and won't again. Product arrive packed well but powder coated pieced had were still scratches on them. Not that bad that I couldn't get past it. Instructions were awful. Top center piece had single bolt holes on both sides to connect the the top left and right side pieces that had 9 holes holes on each side. However you could only push tge bar in three holes deep before it got to the side curved piece. So I had to take tge bolts out of the single holes on the extension bar in order to not have the sides sticking out too far. The bolts have a cap nut that sticks out about 1/2 inch and will press into the tub cover and surely tear it at some point. They do give some rubber pieces that I assume are suppose to cover those bolts but they don't. Sending back and buying one that has more reviews.
