This post repair kit isn't going to magically fix a rotted fencepost, but it will help to stabilize in loose soil or if there's light damage around the ground line. Basically a band-aid for a blown-out fencepost; if you need to install more than one of these, it's probably smarter to just replace the whole fence. Regardless, it's exactly what is says it is and for that I give it five stars

I am on Houston and we just had a hurricane pass though. Every hardware store in town is out of fencing material with so many homes losing siding, shingles and fencing. I ordered these since the fence posts were out all over town to see if I could steady my fence until I could find some posts. I must say these worked and felt more secure than the posts that i still have standing. I followed the directions and am pretty impressed so far, very sturdy! I might just leave these on and not worry about replacing that post where I am using them because they are so solid in the ground. Depending on how long it takes to find more wooden posts I might just order several more pairs of these to fix my fence they work great!

Used this on some of our raised garden beds that were started to bow in a few places. These worked well and were easy enough to install (certainly easier than replacing the side of the raised bed that was bowing - maybe next year!). For now this is a good, quick fix that should last through the rest of the season and probably a couple more years.

I have a fence post that is a little bit wobbly and instead of digging it up and redoing it, I gave this a try.Just pound the stake into the sand and use the top part to fasten them together.It comes in a 2 pack so if it need to be sturdier, use both of these on opposite sides of the post.It's a good temporary fix but if you need a more permanent fix, you can use the foaming.Those also work well but you do need to do some digging.

Unfortunately this ended up not working for me because the part of my fence that’s sagging is surrounded by concrete under the dirt, which I didn’t realize when ordering.However, I tested out the stakes at a different part of my fence and they worked great! As long as your fence posts are actually in the dirt, I think this product will be exactly what you need. They’re easy to assemble, include all the hardware you need and then some, and slide into the dirt like butter. They sit deep in the ground and feel really sturdy.

If the post is secured by concrete, it may not be easy to put these metal stakes into the ground. The quality of these stakes are pretty solid. Comes with all of the hardware you need, a wrench, drill bit, and gloves. Nice set.
