I think one of the most important causes of car accidents is watching to our cell phones while driving, especially following the map which needed quite your attention. I believe all cars should have an appropriate phone holder which help them watch their phone while driving without any danger. It's easy installing and the size changes very easily for adjusting to any phone sizes. it's stable and just is a little big for our car because of the big size of our monitor, so we decided to put it in the right side of the car front. I like it!

I was not too thrilled when I opened the box to see the jelly suction cup material used on this one. I was hoping it was just a normal suction cup. I have found that here in the south the jelly melts and makes a huge mess all over the windshield and dash after about 12-14 months failing permanently after having fallen off a couple times to be mended and stuck back on to get some more time out of it. I can only hope this one lasts this time. The jelly stuff is really sticky and I did not get a second try to mount it. Once it is touching glass, it's staying there until it doesn't want to anymore so get placement laid out with the protective paper still on.I do like the multiple joints and the length. I am a Contractor and finding a mount with arms long enough to work in a truck can be difficult. This one is long enough to handle the truck set up but the suction cup is a little higher on the glass than I would like it to me so it still could be longer but it works as it is. The arm that rotates helps to align the phone right where I want it to be and the other elbows help with length and height. The cradle that came with it will handle a full size tablet and hold it securely as shown in my photos. It is really adjustable and customizable for fit on larger devices. I use a wireless charging cradle in my truck so I attached that to the arm and the ball and ring fit perfectly and it is nice and snug. It is holding strong and on the window, in the position that I want it in and it hasn't moved.The price at the time of this review is $19.99 minus a 20% coupon applied = $16. I think that price is ok for what this is being all made of plastic. I'd recommend it as it is pretty good in a pickup truck and it is doing the job I need it to do. I cannot speak to if it would actually hold the weight of a tablet hanging off the suction cup with the vehicle in motion. It probably would but I didn't test it. For what it is and what I am using it for I would order it again...I would just get my placement better the next time around with the paper still on the jelly first.

One of the most important parts of mounting the phone to the back of the holder was missing in my order. Now I have to find a place to ship it back because I live in a very small town.

I have a samsung fold 4 with a spine protector case and at first I was going to send it back because the spine protector didn't allow it lay flat, but I can open the phone and hold it securely with only one side on the holder. I can also hold my phone on top and bottom very securely instead of from side to side. I don't know how long it will do this because I just got it.I'm plesantly pleased with this purchase

Got this for my Samsung Fold 5. I also have a Toyota Scion XB. It might be that this isn't made for my car. My dash does slant slightly.I got it on my dash and all was well. Easy to pull the protective cover off, stick on clean dashboard, then flip the switch for the suction. All was well, then I put my phone in and it promptly came off, holder and all.I tried again, the arm that was holding my phone titled all the way down, and then the whole thing fell off. Not super sturdy in my opinion.But, it could be the slant of my dash.

I just got a fold 5 and this thing holds it secure. Window suction is strong. And I drive a 80s diesel truck and the arm hold stable with phone

I set this car phone holder up on my dash and it hasn't budged, even on bumpy roads. Adjusting it was simple, letting me position my phone perfectly for easy map viewing while driving.On the downside, the clamp feels a bit flimsy, and it takes two hands to adjust the joints. Despite that, it holds my phone tight and makes hands-free use easy. Overall, it's a good buy for keeping your phone in place.

I'm no stranger to car phone holder (well, who really is nowadays?) and this is perhaps one of the most versatile and secure out there if you want the features it offers (not everyone does though). This appears to be an upgrade of an existing model that I've come across in the past and I'm glad to see that efforts are made for continual product improvements. Similar to just about all others (with a few exceptions though), this is entirely made of plastic although it doesn't necessarily feel cheap.≡ Phone holderTo begin with, the holder itself doesn't appear to have sufficient silicone/rubber at the 4 corners (or at least not as much comparing to most others) and it has no silicone coating at the main plate either; both are rather disappointing to see to say the least. The clamps/feet can be extended and adjusted vertically as well as horizontally to the size of your phone (or whatever you want it to hold) as nearly all other holders do and it can rotate and swivel with ease with the help of the ball joint attached to the main plate.≡ Articulating/rotatable armThe arm is about 22 cm when fully extended out (8.7") and it's certainly helpful, comparing to those that are shorter or unable to rotate, if the holder is just a bit too far to reach or if you simply wanna move it out of the way (from the windshield or air vents) etc. The height and the swivel can be easily adjusted via any one (or more) of the 5 hinges/joints (pic 3) and this is certainly amongst some of the most versatile phone holders out there. Note that the arm can swivel by adjusting the tension via the little silver knob (pic 4) located at the top of the middle arm.≡ Suction cupThe suction cup along with the sticky gel/adhesive is one of the strongest I've come across thus far. Of course, just like any other suction cup (and to a lesser degree for adhesives), they are less likely to work properly with unclean/dusty, uneven, or porous surfaces. The sticky gel is softer than what I've seen before and it appears to have strong adhesive property in comparison with many that I've seen in the past. I had troubles removing it from my desk after a quick test drive of the suction cup.≡ ValueAll things considered, this is a fairly decent car phone holder/mount that's reasonably well made, quite versatile, and has good suction capability; however, the phone holder itself does NOT appear to be of the same quality as the rest of the arm which is a bit of a bummer. It's reasonably priced at $28 for what it provides and its overall build quality, usability, and performance.

I was looking for a cell holder for my car that wasn't going to constantly fall on me while driving and that would fit on all surfaces of my car, and this is IT !This phone holder is extremely solid and sturdy. it's a little heavy and I was scared it was going to constantly fall on me while driving, but it's holding on and it's SOLID.I love that it has multiple joints to you can really shape it how you want and make sure that your cell phone is where you want it to be, visible but not it the way. Installing it was super easy, you just have to put it in a relatively flat surface, and seal the little vacuum seal, and you're done !It can also easily adjust to any phone size, and even small ipads, you you know your phone will fit.Overall, fantastic phone holder !
