I bought three of these because they said they were professional salon length and were the right ones to fit my wife's GHDs, and a friend's two pairs from her hair salon.I have to say I am very impressed!Although not a genuine GHD product (they didn't claim to be), these leads are very well made and fitted perfectly into the straighteners, just like the originals.Unlike some replacement leads I have bought in the past (two daughters and a wife, all who straighten their hair, so a lot of GHDs in my house, plus I seem to get all our friends repairs to do, including our Hairdresser friend's repairs from her Salon), the cable used to make these leads has exactly the same rubbery sort of feel as the originals, is very flexible and is the same good long length to reach your plug socket. This really was professional quality, not just professional length.These leads have now been fitted to my wife's SS Wide Plate GHDs, plus 2 pairs of 3.1b GHDs from the Salon, for about 2 weeks and all are working faultlessly and haven't twisted or tangled in use at all.In all then, a very good choice for a low cost but professional quality replacement lead to keep your GHD's working as they should.Highly Recommended!

Very easy to install. Would recommend they include an elastic to replace the one on the straightener as mine snapped due to never having been taken off before. The cable is shorter than the original which is causing me a bit of added hassle due to the position of mirrors/sockets but for a cheap alternative to buying a new GHD, can't fault it. You can find videos on Youtube for how to swap the cables but it involves very little effort.

I purchased this cable to repair the broken one on my Corioliss straighteners. I wasn't able to find anyone who could confirm which was compatible, so the seller was happy for me to return them if they didn't work. However, it clicked into place straight away and with a little gentle pressure I was able to make it stay in place (the part of the pin that projects out is longer than on my Corioliss straighteners). My straighteners are now fully operational again for only £9. If you're in a similar position, google videos on how to dismantle Chi straighteners and it will be the same. Very satisfied with this product as it saved me a fortune.

It's amazing what you can find on the web these days. There was an fault with the straighteners so it looked like a new pair was need. I had a quick look at fixing them and wasn't too sure what to do. Did a quick look on Google to get a price for fixing them (if possible) and not only got this product flagged but a video showing how to do it. Took about 5 minutes to do once I'd managed to pop the clips off the side of the straighteners to expose the little screws that have to be removed. All working again for about £8.

I have the older ghd3 model,lead fits perfect and was easy to replace the old one excellent & quick delivery would definitely recommend.

Just follow YouTube instructions and save a bomb by fitting this instead of buying a new straightener.

I got one of these cables for my daughter, a part time hairdresser, the original having failed after 2 years hard usage. An easy, quick repair for the cost of the cable. Advertised repair costs were over £20, but received this cable by return of post. Up and running again in 10 mins, as long as you have a little electrical skill(can wire a plug properly).
