Basic function at a very nice price ...
I was trying to make a small rolling but reasonably stable platform to use as a no budget dolly for one of my action cameras. I drilled a 1/4" hole in a Dollar Store mini-skateboard toy and screwed one of the cold shoe mounts on to it. The flat bottom of the mount gave me plenty of room to roll. So, for a little under $3.00 I can get fairly decent, and mostly stable, videos.Update 08/05/2024: Used one for another project involving a platform for a turntable/tripod application. These worked perfectly without any muss, fuss, or drilling required. These things are useful in numerous situations so use your imagination and you will be rewarded. I recommend. Oh and the price is only a few pennies more than the off-shore mega-seller is asking and you get them a whole lot quicker!

Fits my camera's hot shoe and tightens solidly and no wobble...
Some roughness you might find as I did when threading the lock disks. Finish not too bad I saw as you might see the ends of the screws and not evenly finished. Overall I got these for extras for my kit it I need for lights or other attachments. You might find them as a necessity as I did. A little on the expensive side.

Hot Shoe Party
There are all sorts of connectors that you can never have too many of. Hot shoe adaptors are one of those. Cameras, cages, and accessories often have hot and cold shoe mounts, but many products have a 1/4 inch connector hole. This screws right into those products and mounts them right to those hot/cold shoes.Easy to use, fairly sturdy, they lock in place and are super handy in a pinch.
