I came across this while looking for a special chip for my husband's 24th sobriety birthday. Since this seems to be the passage in the Big Book that my sponsor points me to in difficult times in my life, ordering it for myself was a no brainer. I always keep my birthday chip in my pocket book just as a tangible reminder of how far I've come in my almost 6 years. So it seemed like a great thing to add to it. I never expected it to be as beautiful and of such high quality since it is so reasonably priced. I was thrilled when I received it. Now I'm ordering one to be delivered to my sponsor as a surprise for her AA birthday and a couple of extras to have on hand for sponsees or someone special who may need some extra encouragement and support along the way!!! I bought this product twice because Amazon originally it was shipped with another product I bought and it was not in the package. I bought it again because I really needed it as a gift by a specific date. The second order was shipped by itself and did arrive but there was a subtle change in design compared to the main picture and pictures from other reviews. This medallion has the sun emphasized with lines representing it's light. That being said it does have all the same elements and represents the same concept.

I love this coin. Its super cute! I bought it for myself with plans to gift it to someone when the time feels right. The message of this coin is wonderful and fits with my 12-step program. I would absolutely recommend this! I will probably buy again for future sponsees.

Got this for a sponsee's husband who's also part of the Program.He really liked it...even more than I thought he would. Both thumbs up.It's a good quality coin/chip. I recommend it.

I loved the symbolism of the lighthouse, and the fact that the prayer was something slightly different than the Serenity Prayer. Sometimes we know that the person will get their "number chip" from their sponsor, and it's great to have options like this medallion, which is priced well for the quality.The person I got it for was thrilled with it.

It's got a nice weight in my pocket - not too heavy - but of more substance or presence than my other recovery coins. I have no regrets of this purchase.
