Very, very bright
Very bright light. I replaced 4 tube fluorescent lights in my garage with these, and the garage is much brighter now. The light is 5000K daylight which is very white/blue compared to warm white. In some ways, it's almost too blue for me, but it's a garage and being bright was more important to me than color. I agree with others that the whole is small to the junction box, but the wires do fit through without drilling it bigger. If you don't have a junction box, there's probably enough room to fit the wires and caps inside the light. Be aware the ends of the wires have black insulation that you must pull off first. I also took someone else's suggestion to cut the box, mark the holes at the 4 corners, and use this template to locate the holes in the ceiling. This made it so easy to mount. My box came damaged but since it was just going in the garage, I was able to bend the end back into shape and still use it. I hooked mine up to a motion sensor switch and have no problems.

Worth the money and effort to install
As others suggest I used a cardboard template to set the 4 corner holes for the anchors screws.Really love how bright they are 4 LED tubes ... thanks for reading

Nice light, solid shell, easy to install.
Replaced two old florescent lights in the garage.Install was simple, but there is a white cover for the electronics case inside that (for one light) would not go on (it was loose in the light when I opened it). This is very noticeable when turned off but isn't an issue for the garage. The last pic is the one that doesn’t have that issue.Note also my install is not onto an electrical box, so you can see the black house wire and the wire nuts. An install onto an electric box would look cleaner. The lights have three “color” settings (need to remove the whole light cover to access so set before finishing) but the middle and low options have that weird/cheap “LED pretending it's incandescent” shade of reddish orange.Solid shell, much higher quality than the old light and two others I tried. Also, easy to Daisy-chain lights off it if you need to (either end)

Best of the breed
Great lights - they are about 25% brighter than similar lights and were the perfect replacement for two T-8 fluorescent fixtures in my two car garage. The quality is good and I especially like the way the diffuser attaches to the light body as it is easy to remove and secure when attached. The vast majority of these type of fixtures do not have an internal wire cover and these are no exception. The connection should be made in a metal or plastic box in the ceiling or wall and the light fixture acts as a metal lid to seal the box (don't make the connection inside the fixture as it is not code and the wire nuts will show through the diffuser). The ceiling boxes for my old lights were towards the end of the fixture but these lights have knockouts on top towards each end so that was perfect. I did have to reroute the wires from the center knockout towards an end knockout but that is easy and the manufacturer provides sufficient wire. The only improvement I would suggest is to make the ground screws longer and with a bigger head. They each have an internal ground wire with a small ring clamp but the screws are not long enough to allow a 14 gauge ground wire from the box to go under the screw. Also don't use the white plastic dry wall anchors provided as they are too small. Use larger red plastic anchors. Overall, i highly recommend.

Bright!
Love the lights. Swapped out with an old fluorescent light (4x40 watt bulbs). This light just outperforms the old one by leaps and bounds. Instant on, so much brighter, covers more sq footage of lighted area, and it looks nice enough for a kitchen or game room.

USA, USA, USA!
Provides excellent lighting, made with quality cables and connectors, made by US based company. This product is much better than the foreign-made options.

Lots of light, not much use for the instructions
If you are thinking about a very bright shop or garage LED light, this is it. Just dont count on the included instructions to help you much. There are a few challenges to installing that can be easily overcome and it is worth it to buy this light and overcome them in my opinion because this is a great daylight temperature LED with lots of lumen power.Pros - Very Bright light. The two units lit up my large 2 car garage like the sun was shining through the roof. Brightest garage I have ever seen.Decent construction. Good plastic wrap around.Nothing broke in shipping even though this is not packed to prevent damage from any big fisted, butter fingered, gorillas handling the box. Only kidding Amazon drivers, I love you. Two lights, each inside their own thin cardboard box, boxed together in another relatively thin corrugated board box. One corner of the metal frame arrived slightly bent on one unit but was easily straightened out. Fortunately the plastic wraparound was not damaged. This is what happens when stuff is packaged like this for shipping.Cons - the instructions were not only useless, they were incorrect. First, your connecting wires are buried under other wires in the housing and you have to dig to find them. The Hot and neutral are both covered in white plastic sleeves and both ends (hidden under the sleeves) were coated in black insulation, so it can be confusing to those that expect to see clear distinction between black hot and white neutral wires and dont expect to see white sleeves covering all the wires inside the housing so every wire looks white. If you are looking for a black wire in the mix, like anyone would expect, you wont find it immediately. Hunt for two wires that arent connected to anything, push off the white sleeves on those wires and you will identify the hot and neutral as black and white wires. Replace the sleeve after that. Nothing in the instructions about that at all. So that cost me a minute or two and a few non repeatable mutterances. The ground was clearly identifiable. If you want to center mount it directly under the junction box in the ceiling, as I did, there is no punch out in the center, or near the center, (they are near the ends) as I would have expected from mounting many shop lights in the past. Instead there is a single, 1/4 inch hole to pass your wires through. this does not allow any strain relief to be added. OK, not thrilled but I can accept that. Next the wires are only long enough to allow maybe 4 or 5 inches extended once through the center hole, so this makes it tougher to make your connections while the unit is up in the air, especially if you have large hands. Fortunately I have antigravity suspension units to hold it up for me. (my wife on a ladder) Longer wires would have been nicer and easier to work with as even hanging the unit from the screws on one end did not allow room for my hands. The instructions tell you to use a 1/8 inch drill bit if using the plastic drywall anchors. Well, good luck with that! I tried it just to get a laugh, even though I knew it wasnt going to work. No way is that plastic anchor going through an 1/8 inch hole without complete destruction. Instead I used either a 13/64 or 15/64 inch bit which worked perfectly. (sorry cant remember which)I made a template out of the cardboard box, to accurately locate the screw holes, so I could mount the units perfectly parallel to the back wall and do it all without needing a second person to hold the light up as I measured. Sometimes they come with a template to make it easier, this did not. Measure from the back wall, tape the template into place and mark your holes with a nail in the ceiling. All in all, not only would I buy this again, I did buy another unit for my remaining single car garage because it is the brighest shop light out there that I could find. So if you are comfortable installing this on your own. go for it.
