12PACK Basswood Sheets for Crafts - 18 x 12 x 1/8 inch Plywood Sheets Unfinished Bass Wood Boards for Laser Cutting, Wood Burning - 450 x 300 x 3mm

I ordered these boards because I needed a piece of wood around this thickness to create film rails in a vintage camera which was being converted from outdated 616 film into a currently available 120 medium format film. This wood has been flexible enough, strong enough, and easy to work with enough that it made the project a breeze to complete.That used up about 1” of one edge. Now to do something with the rest. I already have a few ideas for them. First is that I want to make photo transfers to apply to the wood and use them as a canvas to apply images to for wall hanging. It is a light enough wood in color and weight, that it should work perfectly. I also have a couple light, small display boxes planned for my rock and mineral collection. These boards will make excellent shadow boxes for that.

These are freshly made and will warp if you leave them to out of the wrapper. They are great quality though! Just use them quick once out of the wrap

Good Quality wood pieces! Nice texture and smoothness.They're also very close to the stated 3mm (1/8") thickness so you don't have to make adjustments when fitting pieces.

The boards that are good are nice. About 25% of the boards were warped.

I've ordered this 12"x12"x1/8" Basswood from this company on 3 different occasions and every time the order is shipped and arrives very fast, 2 or less days, and the wood has never been warped except for one piece but that was my fault for the way I had stored it... Great company and great wood...

I do image engraving. I love the quality I get from these boards. I will continue to buy over and over again.

The wood is poorly made. Many pieces were severely warped, none of them cut well, and several of the pieces were mismatched.Not worth buying

When ordering this item I should have read the description more carefully. This is Plywood - 3mm thick. I thought was ordering material that was a solid sheet of Basswood.Our model Rocket Club was intending to cut Fins from these sheets.This product while quite strong is a real nightmare to cut using hand tools such as X-Acto knives or razor saws. A larger Utility knife works a little better but still requires many passes before cutting completely through the sheet. I was concerned that someone would cut a finger in the process of cutting out fins that are small parts.I was able to fabricate Centering Rings from the plywood by using a drill press and hole saw so all is not lost.If you own a CNC type cutter this material should suit your purpose.RPB Leader: 4-H Sport Rocket Club
