Hi. I haven’t had these that long but so far they’ve worked really well. I bought a rope light because I’m tired of the thin copper wire type breaking rendering them useless. These were placed on top of 21m of trellis and were exactly 3” short. They come with a set of mounting brackets but I used cable ties. The solar panel has an illuminated 4bar charge indicator, brightness control, eight light patterns, 4 6 8hr timer and optional usb charging ( cable provided ). The whole thing comes detached and with a screw attachment to connect it all together. Also a remote control which works well. I’ve only tried it at a max of 8’ but everything works. It’s easy to attach/detatch the panel if you do want to charge it when the sun doesn’t shine ( as if) and when fully charged I’m getting around 7hrs. I like them and will be ordering more. I bought these lights to enhance/repair an old cast iron lantern. Due to the cost and the rising fuel costs, I didn't want to hard wire it. The reel of white lights fitted inside and the light is bright enough to shine through the perspex. Overall, these lights are very bright and versatile, they seem robust and they have a larger, but not to large surface area for the solar power. They were simple to use and so far seem fantastic value for money.

Easy to install look great

There are 20 fixing clips and the only reason I didn’t give 5* is 30 would have been better. Easy to install but don’t unwrap the coil do it as you install. Lovely colours great it has a usb backup. Would definitely recommend

Bought these lights as my husband keeps cutting the thinner ones with the strimmer they are brilliant the battery is very strong and in the summer they last all night definately recommend them

At 20m in length and good quality these solar rope lights are definitely worth every penny. They are easy to install and can be draped or wrapped around anything in the garden. There are different light modes and the lights themselves are very eye catching, bright and colourful, the remote control means you can relax and control the lights from your garden chair. They put on such a great light show, very pleased with them.

This was bought to be a standalone solution for an outdoor path. With the solar panel, that could have been ok.Fully charged via USB overnight before putting the lights up.Looked great for 2 evenings.Sadly with only a few hours of dusk, they failed, or rather the battery did.Having the remote control receiver on the back of the solar panel, along with the display and controls, means wall hanging for the panel won't last.Quite disappointed, as the length and warm white light output was nearly ideal for my intended use.Going back, so I can find something that is better suited for our use.
