I wore this jacket in the cool wind recently and it did a great job of blocking the winds effects. I washed it before wearing the first time because the folds created when the garments was packed for shipping did not hang out. The jacket can be machine washed but do not put it in the dryer. It dries very quickly if hung in an open area, such as on a shower rod over your bathtub. Dries quickly. I love this jacket. It’s light, airy, roomy and so comfortable I forgot I had it on. I got the purple one and it’s beautiful.

Overall I am extremely pleased! Surprised to find 2 large deep pockets on the inside; outside side pockets are deep as well. The zippers to close the side pockets and the front of the jacket lay nice and flat, and have hidden zipper teeth for a great appearance; love it! I would have preferred elastic sleeves, however the sleeve length is perfect. The hood can be hidden under a flap, however no way to secure closed. Front vents are an added plus and add to the style (below should and my armholes). Not sure how waterproof it will be. I am 5'5, 130 lbs and purchased a small.

Very cute but no lining just the shell. Held up on a boat ride in warm weather while in Alaska and got lots of compliments while wearing! Smelled of plastic chemicals at first! Comes stowed in a matching draw string bag.

This had been on my wish list for a while, and I came home after being out in a huge rainstorm and ordered it immediately. It's a bit small so be sure to order up about 2 sizes. It's very light which is what I wanted and is very flattering.

This is a lightweight well made raincoat. It’s definitely waterproof! Sizing is as expected.

Love the length in the back, covers my backside and allows me to sit on the tail of the coat. Not the most waterproof though (granted, I tested it by standing in the shower). So I got some seam tape (like you do for tents) and some waterproofing spray (also like you do for tents and camping gear), so that seems to be holding up nicely. More work than I was looking for, but I wanted something light weight and easily packable for travel that wouldn't break the bank.

This is a light jacket - no lining, so don't expect it to keep you very warm, but it fits really well.I bought it for our trip to Hawaii (of course I forgot to bring it on our drive to the volcano where it was drizzling rain and had to buy a poncho...). The jacket packs up fairly small but still has some prime real estate in your carry-on or personal item. You could probably squish it down - it does wrinkle fairly easily and might take a while for the wrinkles to settle out. I unpacked mine to look at for this review and will have to see how long it will stay wrinkled for.I will use it for spring walks and to have as a back up against unexpected weather. The colour is very pretty and flattering. You can cinch up the waste with a drawstring, the hood also has a drawstring. I bought the XXL (220lbs, 5'6", D cup) and can wear another light zip up under it for cooler weather, if needed. The draw strings help to make it more fitted for an hourglass shape, but it would also work for an apple or pear. As I noted, it is a very light jacket - the material is similar to a tent or other plasticy feel. Time will tell if it is durable, but it will work for the occasional use I expect it to get.I recommend this jacket if you need something light to keep on hand, even in your vehicle.

Bought this rain jacket originally for travelling to Scotland. Easy to pack and fit in the suitcase, kept the rain off - but hard to get the wrinkles out with it being packed away in it's little bag. I bought the beige colour - very nice and flattering. Purchased size L - fits well (I'm 5'7'', 160 lbs)

This jacket was exactly what I was looking for! It can be super compact if put in the small carrying bag that it came with or easy to shove into any bag. Love that it’s longer in the back and covers more bum. Hood fits well and can be tightened to fit around your face. Super stylish as it can also be pulled in at the waist making it fit even better. Waterproof zippers and zip up pockets. Definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a shell jacket who is on the taller side at it is quite long (fits me perfect but I’m 5’8” and have a long torso). I did size up though because I wanted to be able to wear sweaters and hoodies underneath.
