My back door and dog door are side by side. The puppy likes to come and go frequently and tracks a lot of puppy prints across my floor. On rainy days, there is a clear path to follow where she's traveled. This mat is the perfect size to allow both entry and dog door to be covered. I'm using this as a household entryway rug rather than any sort of boat/marine purpose, and I'm very pleased with it. The polyester is a bit on the stiffer side, making it excellent for a "shoe cleaner" style rug. The color came as expected, and it seems like it should hold up well. I would recommend if you have a similar use need.
