Yeah, it works...
I love this. Bought it as a gimmicky present for my partner and we love it. It's a bit of a faff having to take the tube out and set it up before drinking but I do think it makes a difference from pouring straight from the bottle. The only downside is that once you get close to the bottom, the tube is not long enough to catch the last glass of wine so you have to take it apart to then pour from the bottle - leaving red wine drips in the process.

Awesome little bottle robot
Got this for my wife's birthday and she loves it! It works great and we use it almost every night. A bonus is it keeps wine fresher for a day or so, if for some strange reason you don't finish your bottle in one night (but how often does that happen, right?). Or, should I say, when you don't finish your second bottle in one night. It may be pricey, but it is well worth it if you are a wine lover.

Aeration is incredible!
Really nice and the aeration is incredible! This really brings out the flavor of the wine and makes it smooth. Now for a word of caution!!! The little nipple that you slide the clear tube onto is very fragile. Naturally you can do what you want, but personally I leave the clear plastic suction tube attached to the little nipple. As there is really no reason to remove it. I feel given the fragile nature of that nipple you have less chance of breaking or cracking it leaving the suction tube in place. Now for another word of caution. You will notice in the instruction booklet there is a picture showing the suction tube at an angle resting against an indentation in the bottom of the bottle. And this picture has an x telling you this is incorrect. The reason I believe this is incorrect is because the plastic suction tube is in a bind. A bind that places stress on that little nipple I talked about. Stress that could cause that nipple to break! Some bottles have more indentation then others. Some bottles the suction tube works well with and others not so well. Here is how you could solve that problem. Take a fine toothed saw or a midget tubing cutter and saw-cut about and inch of that suction tube. Yes it is true that you will lose some ability to aerate every drop of wine if you shorten the suction tube. But it won't be the end of the world and could save quite a bit of grief! The only other option would be to only buy flat bottom bottles, or chance breaking that nipple! I deducted one star given the two issue's I have covered. The nipple is fragile and the suction tube length.UPDATE: I used a tubing cutter and cut off 3/4 of an inch. I put some water in an wine bottle that we drank that had a large indentation. I pumped the water out with the aerator. And what the pump didn't get I poured into a measuring beaker. That amount came to 3.oz, or the equivalence of 6-Tabelspoons. As you can see not really a deal breaker! After I cut the plastic tubing I shoved the body of the pointed end of an ink pen into the tubing, This served to chamfer the inside edge of the tube.

Light and airy wine experience!
It make take all of your triple A batteries, but it is worth it! I had my brother buy this for me for Christmas when we saw an add for something similar online. It's so cool! It's like a wine side fountain. Makes the wine taste lighter. Only caution, for the last half glass of the bottle, make sure to have your glass close because the spout will spray out air and wine. No one wants to waste wine!

I love the idea of this product
I love the idea of this product. I enjoyed using it while it worked. Unfortunately, it’s not quite a year old and quit working. Tried trouble shooting but nothing worked. A lot of money for a year life expectancy.
