WATCH YOUR FINGERS WHEN INSTALLING!
This BS-VOG Couch Arm Table is exactly as advertised. It's an attractive, sturdy, handy wooden tray that attaches to the arm of your sofa, or recliner. It's more akin to a nice little table, but we'll call it a tray.My photos show the tray set up on a recliner arm and a sofa arm with a phone clamped safely within the 360 degree rotating device holder. The table/tray fits both furniture arms perfectly. My sister's recent neck surgery keeps her from holding her phone up for very long in her hands. The phone/tablet clamp is such a relief for her! She can lean back, rest her spine and easily see her phone, or tablet without pain. Ditto for ease of use in charging your device with the built in charging ability.I like it because the arthritis in my hands gets a break thanks to the phone holder. The tray legs are spring loaded. You pull them outward and place them over the sofa arm. Let go and they clamp tightly to your sofa arm. WATCH YOUR FINGERS. The spring action is tight and the legs hold very firmly. Do not get your fingers in the way of the clamping action. Ouchie!Despite that, this thing is extremely easy to take on and off. I put the tray on the sofa in the living room. My sister easily moved it upstairs to the recliner in her bedroom and she's got that neck surgery recovery going on! I hope she gets well soon and cleans her dirty phone screen.

The charging capability is very slow!!
I have been debating on one of these for awhile and decided to give it a go I was hoping this would help with charging capability for our multiple devices however as far as a charging station I'd have to pass on that BUT it is a nice sofa armrest table securely attaching to your sofa but can't say the charging port is of any benefit as it charges ultra slow regardless of what your attempting to charge! As far as stability it holds securely and is a nice side table that attaches securely to your sofa arm

Doesn't fit all phones
This tray is well-made and very sturdy. First photo shows everything included in the package - tray, hardware package, USB-C cable, and the wooden phone holder which you must attach yourself. They do include a cheap Phillips-head screwdriver in the package, which I found helpful but unnecessary since every household has better screwdrivers than this one.The bottom of the tray has a large rubber grip pad to help hold the tray on your armrest. The fold-out legs are spring-loaded and also have grip pads on them. Because the legs are spring-loaded, they will hold your tray tightly to your armrest. The springs are very stiff and powerful. This is both a blessing and a curse. If you lift the tray straight up off the armrest, the legs will snap back sharply to the bottom of the tray. So be careful doing this. Also, because the legs are spring-loaded, you can't use this as an elevated tray on a table or a middle sofa cushion. It will rest flat, just not elevated. The phone holder part, once assembled, rotates nicely and the slot has a rubber grip on the inside to help hold your phone in place. But it will not fit all phones. It fit mine (a Galaxy Note 9) just fine, but my son's thicker Moto G would not fit into the slot, even without the case. It also holds the phone at a very steep angle. I did not like this. In portrait orientation, it felt like my phone was going to tip over. I imagine a tablet would be even more tippy.I did not try attaching the USB-C cable because I won't use it. To me, it seems silly to attach a cable to the base of the tray, only to have to run a 2nd cable from the tray base to your phone. Why not just run the cable directly to your phone to begin with? So, overall... it's a decent tray, but has some shortcomings.

Have a USB-C wall plug
This armrest table is great! It is really stable and it holds drinks, remotes, pens, glasses, and whatever else I want to pile onto it.It works perfectly on my couch arm even though the sides are slanted. It doesn't matter because of the amount of tension in the arms. They grip and keep the table in place however you position it.Make sure that if you want to use the charging port function, you have a wall plug that accommodates as USB-C. Thankfully I have a power strip that includes a USB-C slot so I can still use this. The included cord is USB-C to USB-C. If you don't have the right wall plug or adapter you won't be able to use that function.Even without the charging function this is a great little table. You can even take it off of the armrest and put it on your lap for a mini TV tray.I love the phone holder. I have a large, protective case on my phone and that makes it too wide for most phone holders. But this one fits perfectly. It will also work perfectly for slimmer phones with no case. It has a little bit of gentle grippy material on the inside edge to help keep a phone in place. This is easy to give five stars. I love it. I wish I had gotten one a lot sooner. It makes my couch time a lot more comfortable.

So far working great
-This came well packaged and in perfect shape.-Assembly was very quick and easy, just attaching the phone holder.-The springs on the “legs” are very strong and hold it in place very well even with the chair moving/rocking. Although on that note if/when you go to take it off watch your fingers as it will snap close quickly.-The grippers on the underside of the table and one the inner “legs” was a great idea and does an amazing job keeping the table from sliding around.-Between the spring legs and grippers it fits a variety of couch/chair arms much more so than others.-The power port is a neat addition and so far works fine. The did include a cord but you will need your own block.-The phone holder, while simple, is much better than a few others as it is wide enough to hold the phone even in a case. Honestly I don’t get why more phone “holders” don’t take that into account. I mean really as much as phones are how many people are not putting them in cases!-The wood is very nice looking and of higher quality. All the edges are nice and smooth with no burrs.-The indent of the table helps keep things from sliding off like they would if it were flat.Overall I am very happy with how this is staying in place and holding up to use.
