Great workouts, great pictures!!
I had borrowed this book from a library, loved it, so I bought it. Lots of great workouts... and pictures for them all!!! Very easy to follow, excercises from beginner to advanced.

Multiple workouts for different levels of experience. Different types of weight training ( dumb bells, resistance bands, etc. ) Lots and lots of high-quality pictures. Very satisfied.

Joan Pagano's strength training manual
There are over 300 pages of very useful exercises in this book. Please note it takes a bit of experiment to find which exercises work best for you, and to achieve the correct way to perform the exercises. My balance, posture, biceps, triceps, abs, and glutes have all improved with these exercises. I have used this book for a month. I do wish the book came in a ring-style notebook, as the pages don't want to stay on the exercises I have chosen without some sort of weight. It takes a few days to attempt and find the exercises right for you, but you will be rewarded with a stronger core, better posture, and better feel. I highly recommend this manual.

Terrific!
This book is a treasure. Clearly written and easy to follow instructions accompanied by colorful visuals. I could not be more satisfied - and inexpensive as a bonus. I highly recommend.

Ultimate Strength Exercise Book!
I love this book! I first checked it out at the library and then had to get my own copy. Lots of exercises for strength building that can be done either at home or in the gym. Easy to explain pictures. Exercises for every part of the body. Highly recommended.

I highly recommend this book if you are just starting out with ...
Joan Pagano's book is a must for any one who exercises and wants to stay in shape. Her advice is sound and practical. Anyone could do the exercises in her book. I bought it after hearing her as a guest on Doctor Radio. Even advanced exercisers can find something in this book. I highly recommend this book if you are just starting out with strength training or recovering from an injury.

There are many options offered to strengthen various muscles and areas so that if you can't do one particular one then another one might work better for you. You can use weights, resistance bands, exercise balls and gym equipment. Probably the most comprehensive and well rounded exercise book I've seen.

It actually helped this couch potato
Not being one of those people who love to exercise, I found this book with pictures and easy instructions helps me keep interested and on target with stretching. Highly recommend - but just remember - YOU do have to be the one to decide to do the work!

Excellent book, good size (about B4) slightly glossy pages. VERY clear pictures and simple instructions to achieve the correct stance, and how/where exercise should work the body. For anyone but particularly a beginner this is a very clear and easy to use book. Well worth the money.
