I bought these as others I had bought were just stitched together on the big toe loop and would eventually cut into your toe. These have a nice band, thin enough to fit between your toes, but soft enough not to cut. The only downside is the material for the pad is very silky and allows the pad to slip about, hence the slightly lower rating.

These were for my wife and she reported as follows. Good points - well padded so would protect the area required. Bad points - the seam between the big toe and the second toe bit into second toe, was very uncomfortable within minutes and left a red weal on the toe so could not be worn. The overall item was quite tight on the foot and she has a narrow foot and the support started to slip down the foot more or less straightaway. Conclusion not recommended.

I was disappointed with this item l found that it would slip off my foot.shame was hoping it would help so for me it was a waste of money.May help another person.
