There are several positives with these Jamaky Hair Clippers. They are very light and therefore easy to use. They charge up quickly and the screen gives you feedback on various aspects during use. However, it's not the most powerful motor on the market.The blade attachments work fine and let you fine tune the length you want to maintain. Are these a workhorse one would use in a professional barber setting? Well no, but for a light trimmer I can toss in my carryon bag where weight and space are at a premium, this trimmer will make a difference when traveling, so overall I am happy with this device.

Right off the bat, I will say that the body of this trimmer is made of a low-density plastic. As a result it is extremely light- perhaps the lightest I've ever held. It is very compact and probably fits well in any toiletry bag. That said, I must say that the weight and construction of this trimmer feels very insubstantial and dareisay, cheap. The packaging boasts an 8000 rpm motor. When I gauge it, I find that the rpms fluctuate, going as high as 9000 rpm but mostly ranging in the 4000 to 5000 range. I find it hard to believe that a body like this could house such a powerful motor but I should note that it doesn't feel weak. The packaging itself is nothing out of the ordinary and the accessories are what I describe as average. Still, for this price point, the trimmer is about what one should expect. However, I must deduct a star for what I find to be a significant design flaw: The blade does not extend far past the body and makes for an awkward shaving experience. You feel the body pressing up against your face if you're trying to edge up your beard. Perhaps the blade originally intended for this design was supposed to be larger? Either way, the configuration that I received is NOT ideal.

We opened the package and there were 2 long, straight black hairs inside the interior packaging and fingerprints on the handle. Super gross! He thinks it wasn't used and the hairs got in during packaging; I'm not as confident. It will have to be thoroughly doused in alcohol if my hubby choses to use it. He did turn it on and said it seems powerful and he likes there is an oil sensor.

These clippers are good but they are way smaller than I thought they would be. I mean their is nothing wrong with them and they work perfectly fine but they are a little small. You get in the package the actual clippers, 4 different sized clip on heads, a small brush cleaner and a power cord.

This is a small trimmer that will fit in a travel bag. I used it to trim my legs. It gave me an incredibly smooth trim. I was really surprised. the display is easy to read. it's made of plastic that seems not flimsy but not real sturdy either. It will last if you take care of it. I wasn't disappointed given the price.

When I first ordered this, I was skeptical about how good it could be (the price point is very low for this type of product). However, I was very pleasantly surprised with its performance, and I would compare it favorably to so clippers that cost much more. The unit feels sturdy and has a comfortable fit/feel in my hand, additionally is cuts easily and smoothly. One thing I like about it is that it is smaller than a full-sized trimmer, that makes it easier to use in my opinion because it can trim in places I wouldn't want to use a larger trimmer. I highly recommend this product.
