First, this is some very nice material. It's soft to the touch and feels very sturdy. It's easy to put on and the adhesive sticks very well to the door. I did have an issue when I pull the adhesive backing from one of the velcro strips: the entire adhesive came off with the backing before I realized what I had done. Just something to look out for. I have some rolls of velcro laying around, so I was able to quickly solve that issue.Now, as for the light blocking... WOW. Here in New Mexico the sun can be terrifyingly bright. With this shade fully installed, more light comes through the door panel itself then comes through the shade. Check out the picture. The glow you see is the sun shining through the door. The black rectangle is this shade. The final picture is the RV bedroom with the shade installed and the curtains drawn at about 3 or 4 pm on a completely cloudless New Mexico day.Impressed is not the word. I'm blown away by how well this thing works. Never again will I shy away from parking under a streetlight at a campground.

Perfect for our RV window. Love it. Easy to place on the door with the Velcro strips. The magnets make it easy to open and close the shade or change how wide you prefer it opened. It has a clean, sleek look and totally blocks out the lights in the night sky. Would definitely buy again!

After reading multiple reviews throughout many RV blogs, we narrowed it down to trying the magnetic type blind. Many reviews noted in really hot destinations is that the adhesive backing on the camper door became too warm and soft and they ended up pulling both the Velcro and backing off when attempting to fold down to let light in. SO I placed this UPSIDE DOWN And it works perfectly even even on 100° direct sun. This shade has only 1 strip of Velcro to secure the shade in place - and this Velcro anchor is not required to be pulled on and off every day - unless you want the entire shade off the door and 3 adhesive strips containing small magnetic pieces along the sides and bottom. One camper recommended placing the door shade upside down with the Velcro anchor to the bottom of the window, allowing you to fold down the blind and have full access to the top of the window versus having to duck down to look underneath when it is all folded into place. I thought this was brilliant and works perfectly My husband was concerned that it would still omit heat in the room despite the 3 layers due to the outer lining being black But agreed to entertain me on a trial run. After six hours in 100° temperature, you can place your hand next to the shade and you feel minimal warmth, but it’s not as noisy when you remove it, you do not take the risk of pulling both the adhesive backing and the Velcro off when trying to fold like other brands. Several brands I had noted had little pinholes at the folds in the material and when fully extended - light still came thru but NOT this covering it is solid and not a single ray of light noted at each fold . Very happy with this coverage

Very easy to install and are a game changer at blocking the light and blocking heat. A must buy!

Easy to set up, instal was simple. The hardest part is peeling the backing off the adhesive without peeling the adhesive off. The magnets are strong, the material feels very quality. They fold easily for when not in use, or too is attached with Velcro. They fit almost perfect to my door window, and the smaller sized option for great on the roof vent. Material is thick, and will really help insulate. One thing they could improve on is the stitching, when the sun is out, they black out the whole window except where the panels fold, light will poke through a bit.Overall would buy again

I bought one to try and lower the heat in my travel trailer. Worked so well i bpught two more. All skylights are covered, and I couldn't be happier.Very easy to install

This is a great product you can have it open from the top or the bottom or easily remove it completely. It is 100% black out, great quality.

So easy to install!! Fits the rv door perfectly! I love that I can fold it up and down as needed. No more sun waking me up in the early morning hours!!! I had a hard time choosing the one to purchase and I can’t recommend this enough! It’s perfect!
