After serving her initial contract as a Harbour Tugboat, the Imara joined the Royal Navy and was renamed Perseverance. This model ship kit is highly detailed and contains over 1,400 parts, so it is not recommended for somebody who has never made models before. The number of pieces means that this model kit is an extremely accurate replica of the original vessel. It can be adapted for use as an rc boat, this twin screw version allowing more engines to be added, whilst the single screw version (click here to view) allows for easy installation of a steam plant.
