If you're looking for bulk cards with pretty cool backs, these are great. If you're looking for super high-quality cards to play poker with every weekend, these probably aren't for you. These cards are fairly thick, have a slight gloss coating, and say they are blue core, though I didn't try tearing one to find out. They feel ok, but don't quite have the snap of your typical Bicycle cards. They also do not have a linen finish so they may tend to stick together a little when dealing and handling. The backs are gorgeous, but if you're playing a game with multiple decks where you have to differentiate the decks by their backs you might find it challenging to get two decks that look different enough. Many of the backs have similar color combinations and don't jump out as being different at a glance. If you're only using one deck though, they look great. Overall, this is pretty good deal for 24 decks of unique looking cards of average quality. Great for family game night, but not great for serious cards players. My wife is going to be using a bunch in her classroom for creating groups, so they're fine for that (and probably overkill, but she thinks they're pretty).
