W4 Stud Closing Tool - Silver

Does exactly what it is supposed to do. It is very robust and I would recommend both the item and the seller.

Works well but note the advice to use small taps with hammer so they will deform progressively. To hard and they crumple less effectively.

The tool closed the rivet but moved to the side not keeping central but it worked

Did what it says,, worked well for me. Would have been easier with a proper hammer, I used a pair of pliers to hit the end, but still managed to repair my awning.

Product didn't meet the requirements and looks to be broken. Tip is missing and won't actually do what the tool is required to do

The Closing Tool arrived in good time, but after opening the plastic bag which it came in, I could see dings and dents on both items, so I did a test to see if the tool would cause any damage to my studs, very good no damage. I wouldn't like to use this tool on stainless steel studs, as the metal of the tool is not hard enough. If you need a closing tool for s/steel studs, you will have to pay over £25.00, This closing tool above is good for standard press studs but not all day long use.( I mean how difficult is it to put these closing tools through a hardening process). I would be happy to pay £10.00 +. Its a tool that gets one or two repair jobs done, and then drop it in the bin. After all the tool is only around £4.00, so you get what you pay for.

This is a great little tool simple and effective made from quality material.

Providing you can get a firm base to use as an anvil these are better than pliers.
