UPDATED REVIEW - I've had this power supply on my Drobo 5D for almost exactly 2 years. It worked great until it just died. No warning. Just a Drobo that wont turn on. BUT....UPDATE: It did NOT die after all! For some unknown reason, My Drobo was confused and not booting. After unplugging the power supply, from the wall and the Drobo, then reconnecting things after about a minute... everything is fine! So... Two years and still going strong on this Power Unit.Someone should make a power supply that is meant for an attached data system that lasts longer than the drives it's supposed to power. having your Drobo brick is not a good feeling and it could be avoided by having your power supply be of higher quality. I would buy from this company again.

I've had my Drobo 5C for over 4 months. It stopped working and I contacted Drobo Care Support and they have indicated that its the Drobo thats malfunctioning. They wanted me to ship my Drobo and go through RMA process which who knows how long that will take.For some reason, I had a hunch that the Drobo's power supply went kaput! So I ordered this power supply. It worked right out of the box and to my relieve its not the Drobo thats defective but its the power supply. I contacted Drobo to see if I can get a powersupply replacement instead.

Everything worked as advertised. When unpacking you power supply be sure to look for a tip adapter, initially I missed the adapter and was a little aggravated when the power supply would not connect to my Drobo, but later found the adapter when breaking down the shipping container. I added the adapter and all worked perfectly.

Says it fits a 5D but does not.

I bought this as a replacement to power my Drobo 5N, it works but they don't last very long (1-2 years). I have had my Drobo for 7 years. The power supply that came with the device lasted 3 years. I have purchased 2 more since then, each lasting about 1-2 years

Not as nice as the one that came with my Drobo D5. The connection is a little loose but its still working!

TERRIBLE!!! The item came with the wrong connector to fit the Drobo 5N2 even though description said it would work for the 5N. Seller then refused return of product. DO NOT BUY!!!

This Adapter works perfect with my Drobo 5D. When after one year of use it stopped working, T Power immediately shipped a replacement unit to me, no questions asked. Great company, great product.
