I'm pleasantly surprised by the quality and construction of this sun protection jacket. Fabric is very lightweight and I really like the cooling effect. It's great that you can wear it open or zip it up for more sun protection. The sleeves has thumbholes and what I like even more is that you can ever cover part of your face as well. Color is pretty and fit it's true to size. Definitely will be ordering again in other colors.

I am really NOT a huge fan of poly-based clothing, but most, if not all, moisture-wicking, "cooling" clothing are made of it. This is no exception-- it's a very lightweight, very thin hoodie. Well designed, with thumb holes and a shaped hood, but poly nonetheless.I am not taking stars off my rating for my personal preference issues-- because that's about ME, not the product. It'd be silly for me to rate a ham 1 star because I don't like ham-- in that case, why would I have even purchased it (the ham, in this theoretical situation)? Anyway, I used this hoodie on a mid-70s sunny day for a hay run, to cover my arms and keep me cooler-- and really, it performed quite well. I was NOT hot (only mid 70's, but heavy activity), and the worst of my sweat wetness was on the cotton T shirt I was wearing underneath it (what do you expect?). I'd consider that a win.Furthermore, and out of the realm of the hoodie, it did just great at protecting my arms from the hay, and I was quite covered with hay by the end of the day.I'm not usually a fan of these "cover up to cool off" clothing pieces, as I'd rather just let the air cool me off-- but wow, I was impressed with this shirt/hoodie. Granted, it wasn't in the 90s or anything, but I suspect it'd be about the same level of comfort. Pleasantly surprising!

I'm a fair-skinned person who finds the sun is not my friend. This hooded jacket provides really good coverage from the sun. It's light enough to keep from being overheated (up to a point) and the fabric feels really comfortable. This is handy when I just have to go out and don't feel like lathering up with sun screen. The thumb holes at the end of the sleeves are very effective in providing protection for the backs of my hands while still allowing use of my hands.

I wish I had ordered an XL, as the XXL is way too large for me. I usually go up a size when ordering this type of garment, but this one is actually true to size. I really like it though, and it will work well as an outer mid- or over-layer when the weather gets cool again.

For those of you that love to wear hoodies year round. This is a good warm month option. Its light weight, breathable. It has good stitching, feels great on your skin and has really nice features like thumb holes, deep pockets for your gizmoz and goodies. Not sure why it has a zip up face mask, but I guess better to have one then not have one? All in all, its a good grab that is very comfortable and fits well.

I needed a lightweight jacket that was not too hot to wear when the temps get warmer, but would also protect my arms from the sun and brambles as needed. This is perfect for all those things. The fabric is soft and lightweight, but works to protect your arms for the same time. It is great for doing some of the dirtier yard work like removing poison ivy. It is easy to wash and dry and looks good on.

I was hoping for a little more warmth. This will be good for indoors where one person likes it cold and one wants to be warmer.
