I do like the LED display and being able to see how much battery life is left.The case and trim are plastic and I'm not sure the trim would survive too many drops onto a tile floor. The combs are lightweight and feel a bit flimsy. I might see if the combs from my old trimmer would work with this, just in case. I'm not sure how durable the parts will be long-term.I'm not the target demographic for these; however, I prefer to use a trimmer with no guard on my legs, instead of using a razor. When I used these clippers at regular power it was smooth and did a good job. When I tried it on turbo, I started feeling the ripping/tugging that other people have mentioned.The blades are set about 1/8" away from the case, so it's easy to wipe away any hair, and there's room for the little brush to get in the gap and clear out the rest.Comes with USB charging cable (USB to USB-C), four guide combs (1, 2, 3, & 4mm), mini brush for cleaning the blades, and a little bottle about 1/3 full of oil.

It is difficult to find a good reliable set of clippers. I use mine just about every week to trim my facial hair, and have been lucky enough that the current set I am using has lasted a few years. Over that period of time I have noticed that even when I oil the blades, the clippers will tend to grab a hair every once in a while and yank it out. Usually it is one right under my nose, where it is crazy painful to pull hair from.This JAMAKY rechargeable hair trimmer impressed me the first time I used it. When I took it out of the box and turned it on, I saw that the battery was already charged to 88%. Yes, there is an LED display showing how much charge the trimmer has. No more guessing!!!Next, I tried the trimmer out since it had been more than a week. After oiling the blades, I was able to trim my facial hair very quickly and evenly, and with no painful hair pulls! I also trimmed my eyebrows using a comb and the blade with no guard on it. Very quick clipping, no hair pulls there either, and evenly cut. After trimming my face, I re-ran the clippers over my face again to see if it would cut any hairs that were missed the first time, and I literally think there were zero that had been missed. I was truly pleasantly surprised.This trimmer is USB-C chargeable, and charges very quickly. A full 100% charge should yield 90 minutes of trimming. The unit comes with 4 attachments that are of different size. A small oil bottle, charging cord, and a cleaning brush. 5 stars for these clippers. These hair clippers get the job done OK. I wouldn't recommend them for beard trimming - the blades pull a bit on the thicker hair, and compared with my old standard Philips beard trimmer, it's decidedly less comfortable for that use. But for a sideburn and neck trim this works well, and comes with several lengths of guard, plus a USB cable, oil and a brush.That said, there are a few cons:* Even though the box was shrinkwrapped, the clippers inside had some scratches and dings on both the plastic and on the metal blade, and the screws showed visible signs of stripping as if they were poorly hand tightened. Quality control is not great here.* The guards feel flimsy; if you change them a lot, I'd worry about the durability of the retaining clip.* I will never understand why there are still USB-C devices that can't charge over USB-C PD. You need to use a USB A-to-C cable here or it won't charge; C-to-C off a modern charger won't do anything. Boo.Still, this is a lightweight cordless trimmer that will get the job done relatively inexpensively - I'd just consider shelling out a bit more for a higher-end model if this is for more than very irregular usage.

This trimmer is a step up from my old 20 dollar braun cordless trimmer. The battery or motor was giving up in my old trimmer, so wow it was nice to have some power back. This trimmer has 2 settings, a normal and turbo mode. I didn't realize there was a turbo mode until halfway through my first trim, and I already was liking it. The trimmer also just feels better in the hand weight and build quality-wise.The trimmer charges fairly quickly on a 2 amp USB C charger block, and I used it to shape up my beard and trim my cheeks and neck. I used it probably 50% on the turbo setting and used less than 10% of the battery. Also, just the fact is is USB C is a bonus. I cannot stand micro usb or the proprietary chargers.Hair gets caught up underneath the metal blade and you have to take off 2 screws to really clean it out well, but you can probably get away with not doing it every single time. There is a little brush and some oil that comes in the kit to keep everything clean and lubricated which is cool. If the included a thumb sized screwdriver that would've been nice, but oh well, usually every house has a phillips screwdriver somewhere.There is 4 guards that come with the trimmer that snap on and off easily enough without feeling like they'll fall off during use. They are very small, 1-4mm.Overall, great little trimmer. Super happy with it so far.
