So the value you are getting from ordering an empty bag is understated. You are saving so much from shipping its mind boggling and the seller passes that on to you. Now how else is this useful? Simple you get to fill it how you want! If you wanna make it heavier go for it. Do you want to have a different feel to the punch? Add some rice, shredded textiles (cloth), beans, sand, or even a mix which is my fav having some old clothing from the local thrift store (upcycle baby!), and put some sand in plastic bags taped up real good in the middle to give some weight. Getting this up in the air on those D rings I think was my hardest challenge once filled it up. Oh before I forget put a bit of cardboard cutouts taped up real well on the bottom and top to maintain the shape. Go with about 4-6 layers to be on the safe side. I highly recommend this product. The leather felt good against my hands giving just the right amount and you can tell its quality. I know its only faux but depending on where you live you might want to oil it up a little with some baby or coconut oil on a rag and wipe it down. I'd say do this at least every other week in use and once a month if haven't made time to go hit the old bag in a while.

This PGS Heavy Duty Punching Bag surprised me when it arrived....it is very high quality and we are going to fill it with sawdust since I plane a lot of wood for my projects....should be hanging very soon.
