I am pleased with this product
I Really like that it's durable . I have a small sized cat so feels isn't as much as larger cats. But I think they'd be worth the try for any cat.

New bags are terrible!
[UPDATE] 1 -> 5 stars: A few days I left this review, one of their customer service representatives contacted me. After several message exchanges, she informed me that there has been no product change and suspected that I may have just gotten a bad batch and told me she would send me new bags. I received them unexpectedly quickly! (Within 2 days I believe). These bags completely match the ones that came with the litter disposal! The color is completely different! These are shinier and greener in color as I mentioned in my original review below. I'll attach a image with the good bags (greener/folded) and bad bags (yellower/unfolded). I suspect that these will work like the original and will update again if necessary.[ORIGINAL]The bags that came with my disposal purchase back in Nov. 2019 were very sturdy, and I had absolutely no problems with them. They didn't even break when I filled the litter disposal to the point where it was ALMOST impossible to tie a knot; it felt like it weighted around 15 pounds!I'm not sure if compostable/biodegradeable regulations have changed, but these new bags I got in March 2020 are completely different. The old bags had some kind of reflective property, but these new ones have more of a matte look (and feel. Can you feel matte?). I figured they should still work just fine and let it fill up to the advertised 2-weeks. (I only have 1 kitten.) When I went to pick up the new bag out of the disposal, I immediately saw rips in three different places. Fortunately, I saw the rips immediately and lowered the bag back into the disposal to get another one of these bags. The new bag held everything just fine. Upon closer inspection, the old one seems to have simply dissolved...I use Fresh Step Ultra Unscented clumping litter (not sponsored), and only put in seemingly hard, dried balls of urine and feces. On top of it all, everything inside was moist - from the top of the disposal lid to the entire surface of the bag and all around the inner basket! It took me another half an hour to clean and disinfect everything. The rubber-like part of the pressure-fit openings also lightly stained to a yellow/green~ish color!I decided to give it another chance and noticed that around day 7 is when the bag starts to accumulate moisture. (However, this may just be that I need to re-activate the charcoal deodorizer.) I think I'll start double-bagging and emptying the disposal every 7-10 days instead of the advertised 14 days while I look for an alternative! I don't mind paying extra in order to minimize non-biodegradable waste, but having to double-bag to avoid rips and potential extra clean-up really make me question the value of this product. Please bring back the old bags!

Litter waste eats through these
**Update** After a poor review, I was contacted by PetFusion to try and resolve my complaints. The representative I communicated with was great and really just wanted to try and make things right. Turns out, they came out with a newer, better bag and offered to send me a package to try. They're so much better than the originals. I believe if you now order, you'll get the newer ones. Having 3 cats, I can only use a bag for about 3-4 days before it fills up, but no more urine moisture in the bucket and the only tears I've noticed in the bags came from the clips to hold them in place. I'd still prefer something drawstring, as I think it'd be less messy, but overall much happier.Compostable bags and litter box waste do not make for a good combo. After about 2 days, the contents of the bag start to eat through the sides of the bags. Once the moisture starts escaping through the hole, you end up with a container that’s messy from leaked litter waste and gross urine condensation along the outside of the bag and inside of the container holding the bag. I don’t recommend these, at least not for use in the waste container they’re recommended for.

The best option for dog poop outdoors!
I have searched and tried a million things for a dog poo receptacle. I have 3 dogs in a townhome and I love this thing -- I had to find something that didn't look too awful and kept the odor contained while closed... The smell is completely contained - EXCEPT when you have to open it - but it's been the best solutions I've found yet! I wish there were more options to buy the bags - they are not cheap - but this thing is totally worth it. Highly recommend!

In the cat business of rescue for years, needed something new
The look of the unit is handsome, easy to clean than anything else I've used over the many years. Maybe a bit too tall but I can empty at any time. Having a handle and carrying container was/is important for I am a senior citizen & the trash bin is a bit away. It doesn't meet all the issues that the Cat Genie does, but I can make it work. The scoop was not included and that is a ? to me as to why NOT...the scoop holder has no use for me, as such. I do not want an uncovered scoop showing, we (2 cats & 2 humans) + guests, share a very small bathroom space. I will use the holder for something else, it actually matches other cat items I have, maybe for toys, etc. Not sure about the little black bag that is to keep the used litter scent down or away, for the scent is actually very strong when the lip is opened, whereas the Genie, when you open the top, their bags of used litter is shut off in the lower part of their contains. ... but the tight closing of the lip is a plus when not opened. What litter to you suggest we try, my cats refuse all except for Fresh Step and I've tried all others so far. I can buy the Fresh Step from the grocery store and it is sold out every week, as all other brands sit on the shelve. Thank you.
