HunterWomens Original Sherpa Rubber Neoprene Shoes

I've had a pair of tall Hunter wellies for the past 30 years. I look after them, and they're still going strong! So after trying a couple of other brands, I have chosen these shoes for more 'every day' wet-weather wear.Positives:1. I have a high instep, and these fit very comfortably over it, and allow my feet to feel supported but not squashed.2. They have a really cosy lining, throughout the insides. I hate wearing socks, and this means I won't need to, and my feet won't get cold. The insole can be removed, and is washable.3. They're easy to put on and take off. I hate shoelaces and these are a good alternative to trainers.4. I like that there is an adjustable elastic around the tops of the shoes, in case of snow, you can tighten them up around your ankle.Neutral:1. I normally wear a size 8 shoe, but ordered size 7 on the recommendation of another reviewer that they run large. It was *definitely* a good choice to size down, and even the size 7 leaves room at the end of my toes, which is both good (if I ever DO decide to wear socks); and bad, as they might move around as I walk. Wait and see.2. I wish they came in a 6.5, as I suspect that'd be perfect.Negatives:1. They are HEAVY! I am an older person, and have trouble with my hips and knees, and normally wear lightweight leather shoes (not trainers, just regular slip-on shoes). I'll need to learn to lift my feet more as the very good, grippy soles could catch on the ground and aggravate my (admittedly personal) problems.Will update, as and when I have worn them.

Perfect shoes to wear during winter in Oregon. Very comfortable and keeps my feet warm and dry in cold rain.

The name Hunter speaks for itself. This is my favorite pair of rain/snow shoes. Easy to slip off and on, and comfortable enough for all day wear. I wear a size 8.5 and sized down to an 8 for a perfect fit.

LOVE THESE! So comfortable, stylish, warm, overall amazing and worth the money. Don’t slip off my feet which is a real plus. I would say they fit as expected. I’m usually a size 9, 9.5 and I ordered a 9. Also got here way faster than expected. 100% would recommend.

Love the shoes but they are really big and wide. I wear an 8 ordered a 7 and they are still too large. Adding insert. Ordered 6 and they are too small.
