Michigan
I brought these for my business trip to Austin TX, it was so hot there that I didn’t even get a chance to wear them because I tried to stay out of the heat. However, I’m sure they were have worked out just fine

Does help
I am truly the person that the mosquitoes wait for at the door. It’s very hard to find something that is truly effective to stop bite. The buggy bands seem To work just fine. They are super convenient to have in the little zip bag so you can reuse them and the fact that they are waterproof definitely helps. While a mosquito may slip by here and there, the overall effect was better than if I didn’t have anything on it all.

Good but with limitations
First, let me say that I am the one the mosquitos bite a million times. They love me more than anyone. So I'm happy to try any non-toxic options. I'm also allergic to mosquito bites so they swell up for days. These ones are interesting. Made of silicone and infused with essential oils in essences that mosquitos hate, you simply put them on to encourage the buggers to stay away.Because I tend to get a lot of bites on my legs, I put this on my ankle. My ankles are muscular at 9.5" and these *barely* fit around. Having one more hole would be ideal. On the ankles, it's pretty easy to put on. On the wrist, that's another matter. I feel like it really does take two hands to get that little nub in the hole so I always need help getting it on.Did I still get bitten? Yes. Was it a significant decrease? Seemingly. I think I'd need to try one on both the wrist and ankle for full coverage. But there no guidance for how long these last. The first one I started using about two weeks ago has no scent to it so I guess it's no longer good? I have no idea but it seemed like I got more bites with that older one now. Do I really want to do a test and wear it again? No, not really.Actually, the packaging is so sparse, I wondered if I didn't get a knock off brand but these do appear to be the real deal. Finally, silicone is only eco-friendly as long as it's sent to someone who recycles silicone (it is not done curbside). I would really love it if this company partnered with Terracycle to take back these old bands (like Stashers does). As it is, I don't know what to do with them but don't want to throw them in the trash so they end up in landfill.

Did not work in Mexico
I liked the idea of using a bracelet/anklet like this, without the sticky spray, however, they didn't work in Mexico. I didn't expect 100% no bites, but we had 20-30 ea by the end of our cenote tour. As these tours don't allow sunsreen or bug spray, we were hoping for better results.

Works Like Magic
Mosquitos love me to death and would literally eat me alive if given the chance. I wore one of these bands on my ankle while vacationing in Florida (perhaps the nation’s mosquito capital) and surprisingly did not receive one single bite while wearing the band. With no exaggeration I usually get at least 7 bites a day despite constantly fanning them away and looking like a professional tap dancer. For the sake of science (i.e. Amazon shoppers) I took the band off and went outside for a moment, and almost immediately got 3 mosquito bites. I made sure to never go outside again without wearing the band again, and did not receive another bite my entire trip. I can’t recommend these highly enough. I’m not sure how to recharge them, if/when the magic wears off, but I found that storing them each night in the zip-lock pouch that they came in, seems to maintain their effectiveness.

Strong lemon scent, kinda hard to fasten but overall good option for non-sticky protection
Overall I like these mosquito repellent bracelets. I would never count on these alone to prevent mosquitos from biting me, but these are great for combining methods. These bands have a strong lemon scent which I find pleasant. I did find them to be difficult to fasten on myself. Be sure to save the resealable ziplock sleeve they come in, as you put it back in there to preserve/save it in between use so the scent won't fade. I like that these are DEET free and I've been wearing them when I'm outside on my back deck burning another DEET free mosquito repellent.

Works for me
When I go out for walks I come back with bites every time. To address this issue, I recently ordered BuggyBands Mosquito Repellent Bracelets. These can be worn on the wrist, arm, or ankle. The first time I used one, I remained bite-free. The bracelets come in foil pouches, allowing me to store them in an airtight container. Unfortunately, I forgot to wear one this morning water the plants and was bitten. I put a bracelet onto my wrist, and I was able to garden without further bites. In my experience, these bracelets provide genuine relief. While I’m uncertain about their long-term effectiveness, I hope they’ll see me through the remainder of the summer without additional mosquito encounters
