Very sharp out of the box.Very very stylish, hefty, nicely finished, handsome sheath as well.Love this knife and the price seems very fair for this quality.The advertised 5Cr15Mov steel is quite hard so ti should hold the edge for a long time, although requiring frequent oiling to avoid marring the finish.
